Upon his return to Singapore, 3LS Alan was seen mumbling to himself : " spend too much liao.. die die..."

Rumours have been circulating that the controversial LSWC is indeed going to be initiated. When questioned about the abovementioned issue, 3LS Alan coldly replied: " it will happen when it happen..." leaving the press to speculate if the rumours were indeed true that a LSW will be setup..

The LSMC board has told The New News that they will be holding a press conference to answer all queries after the board meeting that is said to happen within this month.

The other 2 swordsmen have not been sighted in a long while and are hence interviews with them are not possible at the moment. The public is advised to not trust rumours and await official news from the LSMC.

The Jiam Tao Society of the LSMC will also be looking to start their activities soon and interested personnel are reminded to sign up through the LSMC Hon.Sec 2LS Fabby asap.

1. Dim Sum Showdown AGAIN!

Yet again. Pressure is mounting. In a recent interview with LS FaBBy, he fervently urged all members to sign up for this worthwhile dedication to one of the finest cuisines Southeast Asia has to offer, saying "BROTHERS! The time has come! Wait no longer!" We thus urge all memebers to sign up for this note-worthy event. Suggestions of venues are welcomed.



2. Jiam Tao Department

In preperation for the coming semester, the department has decided to once again open their doors to interested LSM members. Look forward to the upcoming 'Mission & Vision' workshop! Also, new books have been added into our vast collection of 'Jiam Tao' related materials e.g. 'The Dummies Guide for CAP Salvation', 'Knowing Your Dean', 'Not Yet Mati', among other recognised volumes.



3. LSM General Elections NEW!

The 1st Annual LSM General Elections are here! All LSM members are encouraged to apply for a position. They are as follows:

Applications are to be sent in before the end of the month.

4. LSM Awards
In the spirit of fervent and incessant blogging, the LSM Clan would like to introduce the following awards:

• LSM Longest Post Award - Awarded to the LSM with the Longest Post
• LSM Poppycock Award - Awarded to the LSM with the most nonsense in a post
• LSM No-Head-No-Tail Award - Awarded to the LSM with the most non-sequitur post

5. LSW Clan/Sect
The LSM Senior Committee will convene to discuss the acceptance of female members to the clan. In spite of rumours of the establishment of a new female branch (termed Lonely Swordswomen Clan/Sect), the committee has denied all allegations. However, a senior spokesperson said that the establishment of a LSW sect may be possible should there be a substantial number of female members.
