Half a week more to the end of my BSLC...

Juz completed Nutcracker and 16km route march...

Nutcracker left me wth sandfky bites all over my hands... And heat rash all over my upper body.. Sigh...So itchy and painful..

Went out practically the whole day todae since the moment i booked out till now...
Get my insignia fixed on, buy games, dinner, world combat den pool...
Wad a day...

Great Game...

Juz came back frm the bball game.. Our team won 100-83.. Woow...

Started the game real well.. We cruised to a lead of 20pts very quickly.. But as fatigue set in, we begin to play in a 'messy' manner... So our lead was cut very quickly...
There was a point of time they actually took the lead by a point... But we manage to pull ourselves together and get our game back... Soon we were leadin again.. And when we finally hit the last basket to make it 100-83, there was satisfaction and pride in us...

Now as the manager, i'll do an analysis of our players...

Lim De Wei :
Played mainly as the Centre for the team, he managed to grab some crucial rebounds and make a few baskets. Important part of the team's defence.
Ratings: 6.5/10

Caleb Ng:
Team's star Forward. Made his presence felt under the ring wth his rebound prowess. An indispensable player in defence. however he failed to perform up to standard in attack todae.
Ratings: 6/10

Tan Wee Keat:
One of the top performers todae. Was part of the defence tt held the team together in the last part of the game. Impressed many wth his scoring ability in todae's match.
Ratings: 8.0/10

Tan Yong Shen:
Team's top scorer todae i believe. Was the main man to take points frm fast break. Lacking in physical size to mark out opposition's star players. tried his best though.
Ratings: 9.0/10

Koe Kai Kian:
Contributed a part in everything but din really impress todae. Except for his usual hard tackling defence, din do anything exceptional.
Ratings: 6.0/10

Ong Jun Kok:
Another of the team's star player. The all rounder todae. Top few scorers for the team. Dished out the most assist and grab some rebounds along the way. Ghost past the defence of the opposition team quite a few times creating much problems.
Ratings: 8.5/10

Second last bookout be4 POP le... Juz took IPPT test which i only manage to acheive a pass.. The schedule is juz so pack tt i'm so tired.. I mean my Silver was already so borderline.. Den they hav to tire me out.. Ha.. Maybe i'm juz not deserving of even a Silver.. Weak...

Anyway, it doesn't matter.. Cos a pass is all i need to pass out... Haha...

Juz now went back college to collect the Service Award for ODAC... Apparantly they cock it up and resulted in ODAC havin no one gettin any award... Actually, there's suppose to be 4 of us...
Me,JK,KKK and of course DW as well...So the 4 of us made a trip back to college to pick up our awards... Den we chatted quite abit wth Mr Goh.. Bout NS and Uni mostly.. And also how ODAC is gettin along... End up made TYS waited for hours for us... Felt so bad.. So we took a cab chiong go meet him...

Den we went City Hall... Met up wth WK and had our dinner at Sakae Sushi and den more food at Long John...

Den we headed to CHIJMES to catch the FA cup final... At half time, we decided its too crowded so headed home... On the cab wth Wk, JK and KK, we suddenly decided to play pool and cont'd watchin the match... But KKK din wan to... So 3 of us headed for pool and finished watching the match at the place... Arsenal beat Man Utd after the PK match... Exciting match indeed...

WK headed home... JK now at my place stayin over... Cos he's lazy to walk home... lol...

Tmrl finally gettin a chance to play bball... Hoping to enjoy myself..

Book outs are suppose to be happy...

Well.. This book out seems not to be as happy as others... Reason's simple.. I got guard duty tmrl... Meaning i gotta book in early tmrl morning (0730) unlike the rest (2130).. Sigh.. Tts like more than 12hrs loss...

No choice lah.. Wad i owe muz return.. this guard duty is pay back to a section-mate who did one for me few weeks ago..

Anyway, the past week had been real slack.. So many canteen breaks.. .So many lects... admin time of course was plentiful... The most 'xiong' was probably the IPPT Cat test this morning...
So long since we exercise so we're kinda stiff... But amazingly, for the first time in my NS career, i got a Silver award... Haha.. Of course i'm happy..

Todae the 2 ASLC Coy POP le... Ha.. Really envy them.. End of being trainees... Den saw the silver bayonet as well... So cool... Den saw them book out wth their parents... Bet they are filled with pride as they leave the place...

Went out wth Fab, Wk,TYS, KKK and Alvin Lim juz now... Chatted at Hou Mall Mac for quite awhile.. Den we decided to go CP for dinner... Went to the library and borrowed a book on 6th Sense...den we went to Jack's Place and manage to eat and chat till like 2115.. Den i decided to leave first.. The rest of them still hav the whole of tmrl out here...

Now its pouring out there... Hopefully the rain will stop tmrl mornin when i leave to book in... It can rain(CAT 1) all the way after i book in for all i care...

Sat nite stayed over at alvin's place wth JK for EPL game... Saw Chelsea lift the trophy... Oh well..

Den Sun mornin woke up den chiong to play soccer wth Senghou + TYS... After tt as usual had lunch at HP..Decided to watch 'Coach Carter'.. So we got the tics at the AXS machine.. den everyone went home to slack awhile.. Met at TM later where we had dinner at pizza hut..

Anyway the show is nice.. At least to me.. Inspiring and motivating.. Really feel like playin bball man... Went home wth JK.. Chatted alot bout our lives, past present and future.. We even alighted at a nearby coffeeshop to sit down to chat... Long time no chat wth this best fren of mine already...

Sad to say, he bookin in tmrl morning.. If not sure play bball... So gg kbox instead...

So as u can see my expenses is real high.. Basically i'm broke till the nxt pay day...

Seems tt my section got this guy tt already has his own business and its doing well... He's earnin money w/o having to do anything... And when he do something, his profit goes up to a 5 digit sum a month... And it has stirred the business side of me awake again... Gg to try to learn all bout it...

Haha.. My Coy actually arranged for us to go to Chevron todae... So we got to book out todae afternoon.. But tmrl mornin we'll hav to book in to clean bunk and rifle le... But better than dun hav lah...

Chevron seems like a great place.. Wth facilities like swimming pool, pool tables, bowling alleys, cyber cafe, gyms, chalet... and many more.. further more, we frm SISPEC are automatically members... So we get to enjoy all facilities at lower prices... There's only one prob...
Chevron is at Jurong East... Lol... it'll take ages for me to travel there...

So tmrl i'll be booking in liao... But i'll be able to book out in the afternoon tmrl for the long weekend break... a well-deserved one...

Had many interesting activities this week.. Repelling of the wall... AOC (additional obstacle course) and COC (confidence obstacles course) as well...
But i actually got rope burn for the first time in my life... So now my hands got blisters all over...

Start of the week had my SOC re-test.. This time round, i improved by over a min to finally achieve a pass... Yeah... So happy...

Den had SCK test... Last min studyin as usual...

Den it was 4 days outfield of summary exercise.. Mission after mission we embark on... Den the worst thing happen to me... My rifle kanna stun on the last nite... So had to do guard duty.. tts why i todae den boo k out... Sian...

But also happy cos NTU has juz sent me a letter, stating they had accepted me into the Engineering Course... Cool... Now i'll juz wait for NUS reply be4 i confirm my place wth NTU....

One week of outfield has passed... Chiong sua almost everyday... But guess wad, its not the worse yet... Nxt week is gg to be more chiong sua... Sigh...

I always tht my mental strength is stronger than my physical strength... But i realise i'm weak in both...

I always tht my EQ was better than my IQ... Den i conclude tt both are equally pathetic...

What do i do man....

Thanx er ge for concern... Dun worry... Life is one of the few things i actually rank above money... I'll be sure to hav the life to enjoy the money...

Anyway, last week had 3 SOC lessons... And during the 2nd SOC, i had a severe relapse... This is really gettin worrying... The intensity and frequency of attacks seems to hav increased... Actually i decided during the week to see a doc todae... But i changed my mind... Decided to try and pass thru BSLC and ASLC be4 seein one...

I dun believe it but i actually hav to study in SISPEC... Took a few tests last week.. TSR, BN theory... Nxt week got much more coming... BN practical, SAW TH, claymore mine TH, Signals theory and prac... Stress huh... To add on to tt, i'm having my final SOC test...

SISPEC life really very packed..But there certainly is more admin time than in BMT...

And my bunk got a few seriouly love-sick ppl... and i tink they need some serious talking to man...

2 weeks hav passed... Adapted? i dunno...

I'm scared... Yes i am...

Juz got back frm a session of soccer wth the Senghou and affiliation... Feelin abit tired.. Probably cos din get much slp last nite... Stayed over at Alvin (Gan) 's hse ystdae wth JK... Watched abit of the Qualifiers, played PES and played some chess wth JK.. Den this mornin went for soccer straight...

Juz now on way back suffered another attack of the chest pain... It wasn't a severe one... But i'm worried.. Or afraid... It has been so many yrs... When i was young i always told myself: dun worry, when i grow up it'll go away... But now... Its far frm being gone... In fact, its seems to hav gotten worse... I'm really worried... I can't afford to be not medically fit.. I'll lose my place in SISPEC.. Den get downgraded.. I'll lose my chance to earn more in my 2 yrs... My family needs the money.. I know tt my life is more impt.. But i guess if i can survive so many yrs, why not another few more months... Maybe i'll go for a check up after i pass out frm SISPEC...

I dunno how much longer i can last... But i'll do nothing but my best... Anyway i've nvr experience an attack durin physical trainin or activity... So i hope it won't hinder my participation in the activities... Hopefully...

SISPEC life not easy ar..

Do so much shit and end of the day only get 3rd SGT.. Pay only = to wad the ppl in OCS gettin now as trainee... Wth..

Anyway, had SOC on the first morning there.. Den had 2 Endurance Training already.. 4km and 5km.. Had our first few lessons in Basic Navigation and learnt bout the M203 grenade launcher..

Mon gg to hav TH test for M203.. den gg to hav 3 SOC lessons nxt week.. Stress..

And over there the ppl all much fitter than i am.. Juz look at the chin-up regimes be4 meals..
Everyone doing like 10... Me can barely manage 6.. wtf.. Sigh... Den hav to do so many extra push-ups...

And the worse is i suffered an attack of my chest pain... It wasn't a severe one... But the pain was enuf to stop me frm doing anything... This brings back memory of how the previous attack tt happened durin BMT.. Back then it was severe enuf to make me fall out frm the activity...
I dunno... Maybe i shd juz see a specialist bout it... Sigh.. But wad if the doc really find smthing wrong wth me and.........

Anyway, got lotsa stuff to prepare for this first book-out... Many things to buy..
