Long long ago......

Many many years ago(ok maybe not so many), there were 3 great swordsmen...
They helped the poor and needy.. fought against evil.. blah blah blah..(basically all the good things lah)..

One fine day, they happen to meet, under a durian tree.. And in the midst of the fallin durians, they became brudders..

There was Amos the Nocturnal Sword.. Always the hardest to find.. He is said to be seen sometimes on the net in the wee hours of the day(an owl they say).. Brimming with knowledge in all fields, he is the eldest of the 3...

Then there was Fabian the Good-Tempered Sword.. Man of kind nature, it is said no one has ever seen him in a bad mood (they also say those who did dun live to tell..)..his strokes are so neat, they compared them to the strokes of a computer.. Also said to have a stomach that's bigger than the universe

And there was Alan the Lucky Sword.. always seen challenging Fabian to a battle of the appetites but has yet to win a single battle.. there have been sightings, that when he goes into battle, Lady Luck herself is seen standing by his side..

A song can be heard in the background (dunno which guy's radio on so loud) as they became the 3 Lonely Swordsmen.... and the song......




It is said that if u're ever in trouble, juz turn and face the West and Shout "I AM CRAZY"..and the Swordsmen will come to ur rescue (u try lor.. no confirm ar..)

and the tales goes on.. about the many deeds the swordsmen did.......

Yo people~ I'm selling tix for my hall production this year. Was hoping if any of you'd be interested. Anyway, the play is actually an adaption from a novel written by CS Lewis (remember chronicals of narnia?) titled 'Till We Have Faces'.

Personally i think it's a great play (I've read the novel myself too) and well... yup i was hoping that any of you might be interested. 这里好安静啊！ 好像已经没人到这里来了，作者或读者好像通通都消失了。

近月日子仿佛引擎加了turbo， 过的好快啊。 不愉快的日子好像特别的多，感情和学业上，我好像都有欠佳的成绩。一向任为自己运气很好的我，已经开始怀疑好运是否已离我而去。
似乎过了21岁的生日后， 我的运势是越来越遭。 还好我有一群好友，日子也因为了他们，没那么的难度过。

Minutes of the 1st LSCS AGM

The 1st Official Lonely Swordsmen Clan/Sect (LSCS) Annual General Meeting was held on 13th October 2007 @ East Coast Park Area C, Pit 32. The details of the meeting are as follows:

1. All the members of the LSCS would like to officially congratulate our clan member, 3rd Lonely Swordsman (3LS) Alan for his graduation from the LSCS to the LSCS Alumni Club, a promotion of 3LS to Head of the LSCS Alumni of rank 1st Attached Swordsman (1AS). One of the pioneering members of the LSCS, 3LS Alan has paved the way for our future as well as set a standard that all LS regradless of rank, should follow. Once again, we would like to wish 1AS Alan a Happy Birthday. All the best! We would like to urge 1AS Alan to post his Long Awaited graduation speech as soon as possible.

2. LSCS would like to introduce a new member to the LSCS: 3LS Nono. All the members of the LSCS would like to extend a warm welcome to 3LS Nono. After a series of interviews, the committee decided that 3LS Nono had more than sufficiently met the criteria and standards of the clan. With a new addition to the clan, we hope that we will be able to extend our activities beyond internet blogging. We sincerely wish 3LS Nono the best in his upcoming pursuits/ operations.

3. The LSCS would like to congratulate the following individuals for the receiving of awards :

• 1LS Amos & 2LS FaBBy: The 3 years Long Service Award, for their contributions to the posts and comments to the blog. We sincerely hope that both will continue to contribute to the blog as well as our yet-to-be-organised activities.

3 hours of sleep + 1 hour of soccer.....

Its been quite a long while since anyone posted anything here. I wonder if there are still people reading this little online space.

Got back my first mid-term test for my English Language Mod. 23/30. Seems to be a rather ok score until I found out that there are quite abit of people scoring better than that. Full marks are recorded as well. God knows which part of the bell curve I am in.

Had another mid-term last thursday. My South Asian Studies Mod. Its a strange feeling that when I look at my lecture notes, I more or less know everything there, but if you come up to me and ask me what I have studied, I can't say alot. Well there were 3 questions in the test. 2 short answer and 1 essay. Just as we were about to start the paper, the lectuerer suddenly just brought up that the SHORT answer should be about a page long, though not more than 2 page. And the essay? About 4 pages. So much for short answer, guess i should not have assumed that the short answer would be one two lines.
I kind of completed the paper but have no idea at all how I will fare. If I can just score a good grade........

Projects datelines are so near now. And I have only done the outline to my Political Science essay with all my readings behind time. Just to top it off I am falling sick thanks to my consistent lack of rest and unhealthy lifestyle.

Well, I am sure I am NOT the least bothered as well right er ge?

Hmm... How about we open it up to an application. Haha... As if we were some really big organization. Anyway, life is still good here in NUS. Just that i can't seem to understand the lectures. Hall life is fun too, going for late night suppers and stuff. Hope everybody is having a good time too.

By the way, the tagboard doesn't seem to be working. Anybody else has problems with it?

2 days into lectures.

I went through the CNM lecture on Monday. It was more like a introduction to the lecturers and stuff like that. Had EL lecture this morning, where much was taught but I seriously doubt the amount of knowledge which my rusty brain was able to absorb. Tomorrow will be my first lecture for SE, which I heard was not exactly the easiest module to score. And as if that was not bad enough, I seem to be the only freak taking both SE (Southeast Asian Studies) and SN (South Asian Studies) in this semester. Amidst all this not-so-nice news, there was a piece of news which was not exactly all that bad: My NM Final Exam is MCQ. Though I am beginning to consider if perhaps open-ended questions might have made things easier for me.

Arts Bash is this Saturday but chances are I will not be going.

Recruitment Drive for The Lonely Swordsmen Clan? I thought this is on invitational basis only? Well, just make sure the new guy is straight and is worthy to be one of us.

tHe jOuRnEy bEgIns....

Its been quite awhile since I last blogged.

Tomorrow is the start of the lessons proper, though there are still no tutorials for this week.

O Week was great.. Though I was not there for 100% of the time, I still enjoyed O Week. I got to know alot of friends during this O Week, and I think that is the important thing for an orientation. Like what the house ICs always say: At the end of the day, what is important for this orientation, is not about winning, its about getting to know people, who will be the ones to go through the 3/4 years in NUS, so that you do not go to lectures all alone, or eat lunch alone. And I think this makes perfect sense to me.

Bidding was something new to everyone of us. The total freedom of choice of modules to bid for makes it all the more tougher for me to decide and choose the modules which I want to take in this first semester. In the end, I settled for 5 modules all from FASS. I shall not bore people by listing my modules one by one.

I managed to watch quite a few movies recently. The Simpsons was good. Though some may find it a little coarse, but what do you expect from the Simpsons? Then there was Jay's Secret. I actually find it quite good. The script was quite well done and Jay was fine in the movie. I watched Rushed Hour 3 with my OG people as well. Jackie and Chris are hilarious as usual.

Tribute.. to my Grandfather..

Alright.. Not gg to write in chinese le.. dun wan ppl to say my post alot of wrong words...

Went for night soccer wth SHG and DW... Gd way to exercise.. if not everyday do admin job in air con office bound to grow even fatter...

On my way home juz now.. suddenly thought of my late grandfather...

It was so long ago..I was only in Pri 6.. I nvr got to see him one last time.. And i failed in my unspoken promise to him.. I was so young.. Every weekend when i visit my Grandparents, me and my cousins and brother would be anticipating his return from work.. Cos he'll give each of us a $10 bill juz for 'calling' him.. And then happily continue our games...

I regret not talkin more to him.. Not showing him more care.. concern and respect.. It came so suddenly.. And i have to be the one.. picking up the phone call that i would never never forget.. And then be the one.. breakin the news to my family... The pressure.. the stress.. the emotions were overwhelming.. i would never forget..

But no.. i din break down and cry.. my face was still... no emotions whatsoever.. The day he was cremated, i dropped a few tears.. I was young.. but i was a smart boy... i noe cryin won't help.. he always say i was a smart boy... he muz have had so much hope pinned on me.. i din live up to his expectations..

How different life would have been for me if he was still alive... And i'm sure it'll be in the positive way.. He was always able to pull the family together.. His words were always influential.. His words were golden.. And whenever he praises me, it was special...

But now... he can't praise me anymore.. And no other praises would have any effect near his... I miss him..

I juz wanna end off.. saying i love him.. Yeah.. i care.. i do... And i'm sorry...

好一段时间没再布络上写东西了。 开始作工以后在家里的时间少多了。经常加班，就为了能赚多一点的钱。
钱不是万能的，但没钱是万万不能的。

为什么我用中文写呢？因为是到了最近，我得到了‘高人’ 的帮助，我的电脑才能术写中文。兴血来朝，就决定用中文学啦。 也许会有很多错字，还请大家多多包含。

Been quite some time since i blogged...

Started work on Jan 3rd..seems like my workin hours only get longer.. Nowadays i even work from 0900-2000.. Yeah.. and i only take a half an hour lunch break.. Oh well..
Alvin (lim)'s already working there.. and tmrl, i'll be joined by DA GE!!!.. Haha.. though diff dept.. but at least same building.. AND, we're tryin to get Er Ge to work there as well.. See how it turns out...

Like jk mentioned in his blog.. been playin Bridge quite alot recently.. Its a game introduced to me when I was in BMT.. and now, it seems like alot of the SHAG are hooked.. haha..

Workin till so late also means i dun have time for evening sports sessions anymore.. no bball..no joggin.. oh well.. unless of course i knock off at 6pm..
And work is tiring.. though its office job.. but i'm feelin so tired from it..

hello doods.

Back again, for the fun and for the sake of relieving boredom. About the hiatus thing on my blog; I guess it's gonna be permanent. Can't really find a reason to return to regularly give people updates on my personal life plus, I'm really lazy. Sloth is my greatest sin I (and almost everyone else who know me) believe.

Now the answer to what makes this puny magic card so fearsome.



Notice that this dude is a 1/2. Meaning it has 2 toughness. Notice the first line in the text box - Double Strike. For the older players who only remember a "first strike", it works like a first strike PLUS a second attack. So in reality this 1/2 dood does 2 damage. 1 from first strike and the other from normal combat. Get it? Good... now for the other card.

Now this card happens to be a Boros* one as well. It kind of complements this dood but the cost is a little prohibitive (as all good cards usually are). This card, at the same time, is said to be rather broken (or imbalanced).

Ok, I understand it's very wordy. So I'll try to explain in very simple terms. The first line in the text box "Equipped creature gets +4/+0." is what makes this card combo so well with the other. Assuming this card is "equipped" onto the other creature, what we have now is a 5/2 monster. The number 5 is very scary in this instance because the dood has double strike. This means that pitting him against any other creatures with 5 toughness or less and no first or double strike, would guarantee you a very one-sided fight (that is to say, only his creature dies). Needless to say (but I'm going to anyway), any other creature lacking first or double strike with up to 10 life dies to this sucker.

Not blocking this dood make things even worse. Imagine losing half your life (assuming you had 20). Ouch.

The second paragraph in the text box is the "broken" part. It basically allows you to find almost any burn spells in your library (deck) and use it at the cost of only unequipping the creature and 1R1W (1 red mana and 1 white mana). This is also known as a "tutoring" ability due to the infamous "tutor" cards long ago.
Oh... and unlike enchantments, if the creature it is equipped to dies, it doesn't go to the graveyard along with the creature. It just simply unequips itself. So you could just equip it onto something else.

Rain Rain..

Been raining for so long.. A relief indeed to wake up this morning and see not rain.. hear not the storm.. but see a beautiful sun rising..

Went to town todae wth DM,Fab and JK.. Mainly for DM's Xmas's shopping.. but since we decided to have a gift exchange for Xmas, JK bought his as well.. Not gg to reveal wad is it of course.. haha...
After walking arnd the whole day.. we finally head back home after dinner..

By the time i reach home, i got a freaking headache.. In fact till now i'm still feelin it a little...
Went for bball wth Alf,JK,WK and DW.. wasn't feelin that gd.. tired of course from all the walking.. But the headache was killin me.. Its like a fire burning in my head..
And yeah hell hot headed i was during bball.. Off or On the court.. I juz feel like whacking every ball that comes in.. and bashing my way to the ring.. And yeah.. injured myself..
Elbowed WK in the mouth, lucky his teeth are still in tact.. But my elbow's bruise.. Right arm's bruise as well after getting hit.. Even my shoe wasn't spared as the heel of one of them decided its time to open mouth and 'talk'...

And it juz doesn't help that my chest pain has not gone away... Not totally.. It seems to be recovering.. Gettin better.. but its still there.. niggling pain that juz doesn't go away.. Worried i am.. but i'm givin it more time.. see if it can recover..

Seems like almost everyone blogged about it already.. Haha.. Had a steamboat/BBQ dinner at DW's place last weekend (sat to be exact).. As JK has more 'beautifully' called it, the whole S.H.A.G (SengHou Affiliations Gang) was there... the 5 in SHG (SengHou Gang) and the 2 affiliations.. haha.. Yup.. we were all there..

Went shopping for food together.. And i'm proud to say that I, or rather, We managed to keep the costs lower than before.. And we also had enuf food to go arnd.. haha.. As mentioned by others, me too agree it was a fun time.. All the talkin cock.. all the foolish things we do.. And of course wth all the new handphones, pictures and videos were taken... the infamous DW one hand 'open egg'.. The mad butcher WK wth his chopper.. Manager KL wth his new signing.. And the golden-haired butch...Yup.. Got all that down in vids and pics...

This morning was so looking forward to bball.. For one reason or another... But sadly, the weather remained unmoved by our prayers and we were forced to cancelled it... Nvrm.. There is always nxt Sun.. Haha..

So now i'm unemployed.. Need to find a job..

I seem to have injured my back.. My lower back has been aching for the past few days.. Feeling very stiff.. Old liao lah.. Not even 21 my whole body already got problem here got problem there... here aching there aching..Sigh...

Nevertheless, i'm gg to try and exercise more... Play more bball.. haha.. Last Sun actually met girls again.. Though JK felt this new grp generally look better than the last, i still tink the last grp of girls we met were better looking..

Been spending time packing and cleaning my room.. Shifted the furnitures as well... Haha.. It was hard work.. alot of stuff to sort thru.. threw away lots of stuffs as well.. Found alot of interesting things like my Pri Sch Bus Pass, pictures of myself when i was in pri sch, some bdae cards i've gotten in the past.... and the list goes on.. things wth alot of sentimental value..

Left wth a little more packing to do for some drawers but i'm gg to leave it till another day.. todae will be purely relax.. ahaha...

Oh, started playin Maplestory again.. haha.. The game that i deserted some time back... But somehow, feel like playin it all of the sudden again.. Even managed to party wth Er Ge and whack some jumping pigs ystdae night.. haha.. i'm not the only one who plays maple aye.. Wasted our Da Ge not in the same server as us.. haha..

Rummaging thru all my stuff also unearthed some old cds.. Had difficulty tryin to name some familiar songs as i was ripping them into my com.. Haha..

I still remember, when i was a kid, gettin into a university seems to be like.. THE thing.. its like the finale to my education journey.. Get into a University and i'll be there.. as in.. i'll be 'there' already..
So considering all that i said above, shouldn't i feel happy like a lark when i get a letter telling me my place in Uni is confirmed? That a place has been reserved for me.. Then why is it, that i feel this uncertainty.. this lost feelin.. and not that happy feelin that i shd be gg thru??

Received a couple of letters from NUS todae.. telling me again, that my place in NUS FASS has being reserved, and in it, there are some forms to fill in.. To let them noe when i wanna matriculate and stuff.. and till now, i still dunno wad i wan.. I'm not even sure i wan to be in FASS... Ppl ask, haven u tot about wad u wan to do in uni/life? I did.. But there are no answers in this simple brain of mine.. Maybe i'm juz too dumb for all this studying and this is a sign for me to call it quits once and for all..

Let's talk about 蔡旻佑 first.. This boyish-looking boy is a player of both the violin and piano (as of now i only noe about this 2).. Introduced to the music world by none other than Jacky Wu (the one who brought us Jay Zhou) and said to be the next big thing.. He, like Jay, writes and compose songs as well.. Somehow he resembles David Tao to me..
The song 我可以 was written and composed by 蔡旻佑 himself.. A love song wth a catchy tune.. The MV to this song is really nice.. haha..

梁山伯与茱丽叶's written and composed by 曹格.. A very sweet duet indeed.. 曹格 as usual impresses me with his voice... The control of his 'jia ying' is really great.. But then again, alot of 曹格's songs, u'll hear him gg in and out of jia ying and zhen ying.. So, not surprising to hear so much use of jia ying in this song.. I've even heard him singing at A*Mei's key before.. Haha..
And of course he got himself a really great partner in 卓文萱.. Wth a pretty face and a sweet voice.. Haha..

Final Fantasy....

Yup.. Started playin the game Final Fantasy 7 on PC.. Been hearing about this RPG from secondary school days when JK can ramble for hours on funny names like Cloud and Tifa.. Since i got the time, so decided to give the game a go..

Well, so far i muz say it has a rather well written script.. Though the graphics is like TCMI.. But still, the gameplay and storyline makes up for it.. Dunno whether it'll be able to sustain my interest till the end of the game.. Only time can tell..
And so, its monster fighting, girls courting and travelling arnd the world...
Cloud's a lucky guy.. Haha..

Been playin alot of bball recently.. Morning or evening also have.. No its not because we're hoping to see the same grp of girls again.. Rather, its something which we can do and yet not spend money.. And i guess it also helps a little to keeping our lifestyle healthier..

And so for now, its like a holiday period for me.. Juz put aside everything and anything else.. University admission, future career, money, jobs, haze, bike lessons, camp.. and girls for the matter (seems like recent conversations wth my grp of frens usually can't avoid this topic)..

Off to take a hot shower, before continuing my adventure in FF7, then perhaps read a little of my book, before i call it a day, and start gg to my own Final Fantasy adventure in a faraway place.. Wth MY Tifa and Aeris.. Haha..

Yup.. As mentioned by DW and JK in their respective blogs, the post ystdae was a common post of all 3 of us.. A common blog post..

Managed to catch The Ghost Game at JK's place after bball cos DW bought the VCD.. Hmm..They started off rather well.. But the ending.. Well.. Perhaps to leave room for a second episode.. I dunno.. Haha.. Anyway, the effects are rather well done..

Work ystdae was as expected.. Nothing gained and earned after almost 2hrs.. Well.. As i mentioned, it was expected.. Anyway, not like i would have spent the time doing anything better.. Haha..

Todae stilll on off.. Though most of the rest seems to be back to camp.. Yawnz.. Probably juz gg to spend the time lazing away at home todae..

Tmrl's the only time i need to go back to camp for this whole week.. For now, back to one of my fav past time, listening to music doing juz about nothing..

BBall Session...

Played bball this morning.. In less than half an hour after we started, 3 girls started playin ABC on our half of the court.. And soon, we were playin 3V3 wth them.. The game was full of laughter and jokes.. haha..

Unlike other girls, the 3 of them were really enthu bout the game.. The way they mark us is like, any tighter and they'll have to hug us.. Due to the fear of making too much body contact, we were rather reserve in the game.. But we still enjoyed the game and we all had a gd laugh..

We all agreed, that one of the girls actually looked like Hebe.. Lolz.. Wth her hair, dress sense, and her cute face, she really does resembles Hebe.. Woo!! Looks aside, she can play the game pretty well as well..

And the other girl reminds us of YanHan from ODAC.. We made a mental note to ask YanHan the nxt time we see her if she has a sister..

During our post-bball talk over brunch, we also wondered, wad kind of shampoo the girls used.. Maybe cos they were markin us real tight, but we could smell the shampoo on their hair.. And er... its kinda nice.. haha.. Well, that's how close they were to us when they defend..

The rain came in and we were forced to stop.. And so the session ends wth a hurried goodbye as we seek shelter.. But before we parted, we agreed to play again nxt weekend..

Somehow, i manage to accidentally delete my save file for GTA San Andreas.. OMG!! Months of blood and sweat.. All the time i spent on the game.. Gone.. Juz lidat.. Sigh.. How stupid can i get.. Decided that i'll slowly start playin the game all over again.. Like Da Ge says.. Now that u've been thru it, this time it'll be faster.. Haha.. I hope so..

Juz had a bball session this morning.. The PSI's not really that high (70+).. So not that bad.. Though the weather was real hot somehow.. Or humid rather..
Juz now there was a passin shower.. Hope that helps to bring the haze away from our sunny little island.. Haha..

Nothing to do now.. or rather, can't get myself to do anything but waste the time away.. waiting for someone to initiate some brilliant plan later..haha..

3 days MC....

In case anyone's interested, i'm given 3 days MC.. Well, i was referred to TTSH A&E ystdae after i reported sick for sore eyes.. The MO juz wanted to be sure it wasn't anything serious.. So send me to see an eye specialist.. Got 3 days MC from the eye specialist lor..
Anyway, its much better already..

So bored at home.. can't go out since i'm on MC (furthermore its conjunctivitis, which is contagious).. Had been playin GTA San Andreas alot recently.. Rather violent game I muz admit.. Haha..
Courtesy of TYS, i also have Company of Heroes in my com.. Not bad.. My com can still handle the graphics.. Very realistic game and for those who like RTS games, i'll second TYS on his point: this game is something u wouldn't wanns miss...

As we come to the end of the year, all the guys are now lookin forward to one big thing.. ORD that is.. That also means, its time to get a job.. So gotta start searching..

I'm intending to 're-vamp' my room after i ORD or probably can get started before.. Its gg to be a budget one.. Juz wanna give my room a new look.. Anyone got lobang for cheap furnitures? (hmm.. usually i would rather be the one tellin ppl i got lobang.. Haha)...

Also made up my mind to get back to reading.. Been awhile since i've been reading.. Will start by finishin up The Broker..

Ok, I decided to be a little scary so here I am; materialised from nothingness.

After a long break (a hiatus I've said?), i'm still on a break. Don't bother taking a second look, you read that one right. I'm only here to give a little "boo", and maybe update a little on what's going on in my dismal NS life.

Nothing much to say about NS really. Only thing going right in there is that I'm going to "ORD LOH!" as they say. To say the least, I'm happy I'll be finally out of that infernal hellhole.

Other then that, it seems everyone's looking for/found a job and I'm the only bummer who's too lazy at the moment to think about one. Can someone help me?*Looks pleadingly at Fabian*

Oh, and I've finally got a hobby to spend money on. Most people won't understand this but I'm back into magic. No, I'm not talking about cheap parlour tricks. I'm talking about Magic: The Gathering also affectionately called "Magic" by the players.

I hear it coming. The sounds of disapproval and possibly disgust. But let me tell you now that I will have none of that. Magic is a respectable game. It is afterall the grandfather of all Trading Card Games. Nothing has surpassed it, gameplay or otherwise. It had me enthralled as a primary school kid, and it has that hold on me again. Especially so since I've the money to pursue that interest now.

Anyway, here's a card I particularly enjoy using. The art's nothing special and it looks rather weak but when used in conjunction with another card (I'll say what next time) it becomes an intimidating presence.

Sakura again....

First of all, welcome back Er Ge !! Haha.. Perhaps can meet up soon? Haha..

Went Sakura again todae.. The International Buffet.. This time went wth JK,KKK and Alvin.. Last time i went was wth my colleagues from camp.. That time went to the outlet in Clementi, this time went to the one in Donwtown East.. Seems like the one in Clementi have more variety of food to choose from.. Haha.. $26.. Ex siah.. But we really eat until damn full.. Haha..
So after dinner we went for a really long walk arnd.. Ending up at WhiteSands.. Wanted to go to Coffeebean to chill, but its gone.. Ended up buyin Nutritea, partly because of the girl sellin it.. haha..

On the bus todae, me and JK were seating in front of this Indian man.. Den that idiot started coughing.. And hell he din cover his mouth.. din even bother to turn his head, so me and JK could feel the wind in the back of our heads.. Freaking disgusted i was.. wad an a**hole.. Unable to stand him, we changed seats.. Grr... so damn pissed...

Todae's also the first time i wore contact lens.. Haha.. Took quite a long time to put them on.. Juz can't seem to get them to be 'stuck' in the eye.. The shop wanted to charge me $30 for consultation fee juz cos i was using it the first time.. That is juz crazy.. The lens only costs $15 lah.. So i told them no need for that, i'll juz take the lens.. Haha..

Whole body's aching from the basketball and soccer last 2 days..

Sick...

Yeah.. Fell sick again..

This time seems worse though.. Fever was real bad last night.. Thank goodness its gone now.. at least for now..
Throat's still bad.. Can't really talk and swallow properly.. Flu's simply awful to have.. Was sneezing non stop during ystdae's dinner at Marina Bay wth ODACians.. Coughing so hard, my diaphragm (is that how u spell it? ) hurts..

Wanted to go the the private clinic to see a doc and get it over and done wth so i can come back and rest.. But no..Had to go to either the polyclinic or A&E as insisted by someone.. Grr.. So angry.. This is like somewhat unreasonable to me.. Nvrm.. Shall not talk about this anymore..

ODACians dinner ystdae turns out to have quite a Victorian 'feelin'.. Haha.. Din really eat much cos mt throat was already rather bad.. Fever was probably already building up considering how red and hot my face was.. Perhaps really shd not have went ystdae.. Dun even tink i ate my money's worth..

animals all over.. the zoo!!!

Went to the Zoo todae wth my Sis and Layee.. Long long time since i went to the zoo..Reached there bout 10am... Started a long walk in the zoo...

Saw alot of animals (duh)..
White Tiger was magnificant.. Otters were utterly cute.. Monkeys are juz all over the place.. Well, the Singapore Zoo has the largest collection of them in the whole world.. So wad do u expect? Lolz..

Snakes were beautiful.. If u ask me, the large python there is a beauty.. There have been claims that the African Anaconda can grow up to 12m.. But cos there has not been any solid evidence found, the python is still the longest snakes arnd.. But hell the African Anaconda can weigh alot.. 226kg is the record if i remember correctly..

Went by this post that read: " Great Lovers" .. Tink it was the lion's enclosure (correct me if i'm wrong).. Apparently they can mate every 15mins for 3 days continously.. i was like.. Whoa.. Haha..

Found this uncanny similarity between the polar bears and the otters in the way they swim.. They like to swim to a wall, then kick off the wall fallin backwards into the water.. And they swim in a fixed route.. Haha..

Still can't stand the Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.. Disgusting little stuff they are.. And a whole tank of them.. Sux..

Animals aside, i also found out that the zoom function for the camera is of utmost importance.. My hp apparently has zoom function only in video camera mode and not still camera mode.. Sian.. So some of the animals that are too far away i ended up taking videos of them..

Juz an advise for ppl gg to the Zoo.. Pls bring ur own water.. The bottle (500ml) drinks there costs $3.20 !!!.. Food as well.. The only thing there not ex is probably KFC..

Spent the afternoon more or less 'slping'.. juz lazing arnd.. Doing nothing.. Lying on my bed.. den moving to my sofa.. den back to the bed again.. Felt gd.. Haha.. Its like a break from all the work.. Phew..

Went to Wild Wild Wet last weekend.. Its the kind of place where i go once to experience it.. and i'll probably not go again.. Haha.. Its like $14 lah.. Like not ex... Reason why we went there was because JK's cousins from Batam wanted to go there.. So we joined in.. However, on that day, we were really juz playin among ourselves.. Floating down the Shiok River was super relaxing.. Minus the overturning of floats and all.. haha...

Managed to catch a movie as well.. Tokyo Drift.. As expected the storyline was really like... Boring.. basically its juz the cars and the girls... Haha.. Japan and Taiwan are 2 places i really wanna go.. haha..
Oh.. because of Linda, i actually bought this month' s issue of FHM.. Haha.. She was the cover girl..

Lots of things have been happening at work as usual.. More ppl gettin into more trouble.. Can't wait to ORD really.. Need to find a job though...

Movin!

Movies... Sakura....

Had been watchin quite a few movies this few days..

Hoodwinked was very funny with a very refreshing plot.. Kinda liked the songs in the movie.. Haha.. Cute characters as well...
I thought Lady In the Water had a very nice storyline.. Always liked this kind of stories..
Juz watched Click todae... Very hilarious movie wth touching moments.. Kinda reminded me that time is too precious to be wasted..

Sat gg to watch Long Hu Men.. And still got Tokyo Drift to watch at home...

Went for dinner at Sakura International buffet todae.. Quite a nice place.. Price was rather ex ($24 i paid) but there sure was variety.. Got S'pore's fried beehoon, japanese sushi sashimi,pizzas, laksa,fresh oysters,abalone.. etc... Had a great dinner... That place got a very nice view too ( its on top of a hill )...

Tmrl on off also.. Takin the chance of this 4 days break to relax myself.. And recuperate... Anyone any plans tmrl?? haha..

Fireworks !!!!

Another day spent for the nation.. Yeah.. Had been on medical cover for quite a few weeks already... For NDP that is.. Cos Mr President went to One Fullerton for the ceremony and also watch the fireworks display, our team had to go down there as well ( we are the cover for Mr President)...

The fireworks was beautiful..Not the first time i see fireworks.. But this NDP has gave me quite a few chances to see fireworks display.. This one was extremely captivating, cos it was longer (i stood there rooted for like almost 15-20mins).. and also because the display is gg on wth music in sync... Very nice lah...

After the cover, i got to leave from there.. So went over to AMK to meet up wth the guys to watch a movie... Lady In The Water... The storyline seems quite ok.. I mean, i've always liked this kind of plot.. Where a grp of gd guys come together to fight the evil.. Haha.. So yeah... I tried to guess the plot.. But i din managed to get it right.. Either i'm gettin dumber or the writers are gettin better.. Or maybe i'm juz to shag to tink...
Liked the part when they say, that every being has got a purpose... Kinda like made me tink about myself.. And my purpose in living.. Which i do not noe...Haha..

NDP's coming soon.. Too bad i dun have tickets to give away.. We are only given Preview day tickets.. Which thank goodness were not wasted..

Office politics sux...

The working environment in my workplace is really lousy.. The office politics is real bad.. Sigh.. So many ppl backstabbing each other... Its a scary place...

After working in the office, only then did i realise the importance of a secretary.. or rather someone to be there to do all the misc stuff like photocopying stuff, faxing paperwork,etc.... Haha.. So they do have a use other than sitting there takin up a spot and trying to be part of the furniture in the office tryin to look pretty..

Gg for course for the nxt 2 days... Can take it as a break from my workin schedule... Haha..

Cafe Cartel....

Todae afternoon actually went all the way to Yishun (actually yishun also not very far) to watch a movie..
Pirates of the Caribbean.. Not a bad show...

Den went to meet some of the guys from the class and Cory as well.. Cory's back in Singapore for awhile.. went to Cafe Cartel for dinner.. well, the new service charge is rather sad.. haha..

After that spent some time at the arcade and then the foodfestival before heading home...

Dunno wads wrong wth me todae.. while walking to the MRT wth TYS in the afternoon, suddenly juz had a little fainting spell.. Juz suddenly like black out for a few seconds.. Thank goodness for the pillar nxt to the walkway..Had to held on to it for support.. I've never had this kind of fainting spells before.. The nearest i got was when i sit down for too long, den when i suddenly stand up i'll get a blood rush.. But i was juz walking this afternoon...
And my chest hasn't been feelin so gd.. Damn.. I hope its juz i xin li zhuo yong... Its only then I realise... I'm scared of death too... I've got so much i wanna achieve.. and so much things i wanna try...I'm thinking too much........

Recently there have been alot of , not so nice things, happening at home... I'm feelin very sian about it.. And i'm feelin sick and tired... Morale is low..

I helped save a dog !!!

During my guard duty ystdae, something interesting happened.. someone reported that a dog was trapped and SPCA was called in.. So i was called upon to follow the DO (Duty Officer) and the SPCA guy in.. Went in wth a torch (it was in the night) and a jack knife.. Turns out the dog was trapped in the net of one of the goal post at the field.. It was very agitated.. I tried to calm it down ( i always thot i can communicate wth all kinds of living things.. haha).. I was ok until the SPCA guy came wth the lasso.. The dog struggled so much it's mouth got entangled in the net.. Unable to open its mouth and bark, it decides to try and bite thru the net.. The sharp nylon of the net cuts its gums and it ended up bleeding from its gums.. Quite alot of blood loss.. After it was freed, the SPCA guy took it back wth him.. Haha.. Interesting..

Had a tiring day todae.. Somemore had to go Tanjong Gul Camp, which is like super far lah.. Tmrl gotta go again.. Sian.. muz take train all the way to Boon Lay leh.. After that take a bus for almost half an hour.. Sian...

Guard Duty??

Hey Er Ge, i'm doing guard duty on Mon as well.. Haha..

Body slowly feelin the fatigue set in after all the sports...

The World Cup is more or less over... Wth Brazil and Argentina out, this means there are no more South American teams left.. And there are no more Asian teams as well..

And so we step into the month of July, which is a hectic one for me.. Wth NDP trainings comin in.. and the duties i have to performed ( not exactly helpful that i signed 2 extras).. and the huge amt of training we have to do.. i can't wait for July to be over.. And there isn't a single day of public holiday.. Sigh..

Morale is below sea level...

Didn't catch a wink the entire night at all... not even my alarm clock could wake me up just now... hahaz...

And the beauty of it all... it ends my June guard duty... And... this Monday will be my July Guard Duty!

Did a good deed...

Todae i did a good deed.. During training todae, a little bird somehow fell and landed on the floor.. Abit stunned and injured, it din fly.. or rather it can't.. i picked it up and it rested in my hands for like half an hour, den it was well enuf to perched itself on my finger.. Den soon it flew off le.. So happy for it....

Had a farewell 'party' for my OC todae.. Ate alot of pizzas and drank quite abit of beer and wine..

Den headed to Parkway to join the rest for pool.. was rather tired by the time i got there.. A long journey indeed..

Played a few games den shared a cab home...

Tmrl i'm on duty.. I actually exchanged for it myself.. Dun ask me why i do it...

Everyday, someone will piss u off.. But then, everyday, someone will make ur day as well... this is a balance in life... Juz my thoughts... no right or wrong...

Hmm.. Been quite some time since i last blogged..

So wad have i been up to??

Well, i've been spending alot of money.. and i've been gettin into alot of trouble..

Ystdae a few of the class guys (including me lah) went to Suntec for dinner.. Had our dinner at Sizzler's.. Nice food and filling indeed.. But the price was still a little steep.. Not the first time i ate there.. Once in a while guess its ok.. Haha..
To tink last Sat juz ate at Pasta Mania and bought myself a set of earphones.. And this time the earphones i bought is apparently a gd one.. Haha.. Smthing wth a gd brand.. Lolz..

Juz came back from a jog wth WK.. I'm so fat nowadays.. Really shd be running more..

And so wad kind of trouble have i got myself into?? Well, its a long story.. But i got my punishments... Signed 2 extras if u noe wad they are.. Had to write statements somemore lor... Nvr write before.. Not gonna dwell on it..

Hmmm, reading blogs arnd, i realise smthing.. Ppl often like to use the initials of a person in their blogs and sms.. For example, they'll use 'kl' for me.. Or like 'WK' for Wee Keat.. For sms its still fine, cos the person u're msging probably noe this person as well.. But for blogs dun u tink its different?? I mean there may be people who read ur blog, but not noe who ur 'KY' or 'JH' all this are.. right??

Felt like ages before it ended.. Wanted to clear a whole day of off tmrl.. However, due to some stores, i'll have to go back to camp in the morning tmrl.. Sigh.. Nvrm.. I'll juz settle for the half day off..

But sadly, that does not mean long weekend for me.. Because, i'm on duty on Sat.. Wad luck.. Well, i'll juz get it all over and done... Sigh..

Our gd fren KKK is gg overseas again.. Haha.. Brunei this time i tink? Anyway all the best to u.. Not that i tink u'll suffer gg there as an officer.. Haha..

This weekend seems real short.. The only thing i seem to be able to remember from the whole weekend was the soccer session on Sat night lor.. And i dun recall myself doing anything else this weekend..

Tmrl's the start of the 4D3N exercise le.. Meaning i'll be away from home and away from my com for 4 days... Sian..

My future is in a blur...

Not a gd weekend.. Finally received the letter from NTU SCI...
Was so anxious about it i opened it w/o even taking off my boots when i got home...

Sadly, but expectedly, i was rejected.. It was expected.. But still.. i feel the disappontment.. The sadness that engulfed me after reading the letter was not easy to take..
Took a cool shower to cool myself down..
All i could tell myself was.. 'u shd have known...'
I was juz being naive.. Being hopeful.. Being dumb...

Managed to gather most of the ppl at my place to discuss and check out the internet for our transport and accomodation for the Euro trip we are planning...
More or less the main route is out already.. Left all the mimor details..
After that we also went to the library after dinner to check out some travel guides..
Each got a book to read up.. On all the different places we're planning to go...

I took Paris.. Anyway it was me who suggested Paris to begin with.. So might as well be me.. And i wun mind learning a little of French juz in case we need it over there.. Haha..

Life hasn't been gg well for me.. There juz seems to be too many cock ups.. Too many failures.. Too many disappointments...
Now that i can't get into SCI.. I really dunno wad i gg to do.. Uni study wad?? I really dunnno.. Argh... Wad i wanna work as?? I have no idea too... My future is in a blur..

Its like driving in a car with no idea where u shd be heading.. As if that wasn't bad enuf, it has to start pouring and visibility drops further...

Ok.. i've typed alot.. Nothing to do.. Glad to see Er Ge's post.. Proving his existance in this cyberworld...

162 Days To O.R.D.!

The Da Vinci Code...

Juz got back from the movie.. The Da Vinci Code..
Hmm.. Not bad.. I mean, considering i at first thought i'd be disappointed cos i already read the book and i was thinking the movie's not gg to be able to bring out the story well.. But, its not so bad..

Because JK went Sentosa, we had to watch the late show.. At first wanted the 2350 show, but upon realising JK can make it earlier, we went for the 2130 show..
Me, Alvin and TYS met up earlier to get the tix.. Insanely, we met at bout 1230 at Suntec..
So we spent the whole afternoon there..

Playing LAN at Marina, den went to the arcade, where we spend money crazily on a few particular machines.. Of cos, me and TYS went for World Combat, hmm, the machine there not bad, at least its working properly, but we did complete the game.. With one token, though TYS died juz before the final boss did..

Den there was the 'Stacker', which i tink the 3 of us put in at least $3 each, haha.. Trying for the PSP.. And there was the bball shooting machine.. which i surprisingly came out bottoms, lolz..

And then, there was the round machine like a sphere which u can grab sweets.. There was this jackpot, which had lots of key chains and sweets, and it was near the edge.. So the 3 of us went on and try and try.. Alvin got the closest when he managed to push that thing near, but not over the edge.. Wasted..

So, wad a day it has been..

We were also talking, bout this trip which we wanna go on.. A trip to Europe.. Juz the few of us.. Hmm.. Details are still not out.. Hopefully, this will really happen.. It'll be an experience..

My com's acting strangely, and i dunnno wads wrong wth it.. Sigh..

Well, all good things muz come to an end..

Had a great weekend..

Let's see, on thurs i took half day, actually wasted it slping the afternoon away.. lolz.. Den it was DOTA in the evening till late..

Fri played soccer.. Den it was DOTA again..

Sat played bball.. Den in the evening went alvin's place watch FA Cup Final.. Wad a match man!!

This morning went KBox wth the usual ppl and some of the gers from s4..

Ended the day meeting alvin and jk for badminton at the sports hall.. can't play for nuts.. Me and jk were like clowns as we 'entertain' the crowd wth our 'great' skills... Lost to alvin's cousins..
Then went for supper.. Alvin's treat cos i din wanna take the commission from the tutoring from him.. I mean, i know this guy for like wad, 9+ years le lah..

Realise my weekend's got quite a few DOTA sessions.. But sports was still in the timetable.. Soccer, bball, and even badminton.. Haha.. Guess its impt to exercise.. anyway, we enjoy it.. Haha..

Haven heard from my 2 brudders for a long long time.. Esp Da Ge, haven seen him for ages.. Wonder how they're both doing.. Hope ur r fine and things have been running smoothly for ur !!

It's been a while...

Been some time since i blogged.. Haha.. Let's see, the last time i was here i was talking bout getting my new CPU..

Much things have happened from then till now.. Both sad and happy..

Maybe its because i've nvr worked in an office environment before.. But office politics really sux.. The backstabbing and all really are 'fatal'.. It's even worse in wad i've seen in JC ( if ur noe wad i'm talking bout).. Its really hard to 'survive' in the office.. Especially mine.. It seems that mine is the 'cream of the crop'.. Argh...

Had been playin alot of DOTA Lan recently.. Guess its one of those things a whole grp of ppl can go and do and not really spend that much money..

Yes.. I'm back to the cyber world.. After weeks of having to clear my mail using the coms in my office, i can finally now sit in the comfort of my home and use the com and go online.. Haha..

Muz thank a few ppl for making this possible..

Firstly to DH and my Er Ge.. Thanks to the 2 of them for gg all the way to Simlim with me to help me get my new CPU.. With their knowledge and experience, they helped me decide on the specs of my new CPU and everything.. Took almost the whole afternoon but neither of them complained at all.. Thanks guys!!

But it wasn't a smooth ride after that.. Encountered some problems setting up my internet and all.. But thanx to DH (again), TYS and Alvin (Gan) for all the effort they made in tryin to get everything in place..

Well, its a new CPU.. Meaning i lost all my data... All my songs... Argh.. So many of them.. Many probably i'll nvr be able to get them back.. Sigh..

So ppl, kindly do send me songs.. Yah.. Help me get my song database back in shape..

Kind of 'clinched my 2nd deal' this month.. Guess i've more or less got back the money i spent in the first place taking up this 'job'.. This week both my 'matches' will start work.. One on thurs and one on sat...

Quite alot of unhappy things happening in the office.. Not gg to talk bout them.. Dun wanna get into trouble..

Still got the written test and interview on saturday to 'look forward to' this sat.. Hmm .. Wad a week...

Oh Er Ge, u cannot make it for the BBQ?? Cannot change date for wadeva is preventing u from coming ar?? Hoping to see u there on 6th May.. Though i myself cannot be 100% sure i can make it... Ha..

Met WX on the bus todae in the morning... Haha.. He gg Khatib Camp.. For a 3 weeks course.. So might be meeting him more often.. Walking into camp saw Gary driving Angeline into camp.. Haha.. Probably she'll drive the car out after Gary alight lor..

Raindrops keep fallin on my head...

Juz got back from a short bball session wth JK..

After lunch at HP, it started to drizzle.. But i still walked home.. I like the feeling of the raindrops fallin on me.. Not a heavy rain but a drizzle is nice.. I always like the rain.. Provided I'm not gg out for anything.. A walk in the drizzle can freshen me up.. Add in the slow love song.. Can really enjoy the song.. Haha.. But now the drizzle has turned into a heavy storm.. So... Haha..

Kind of regretted playin pool last nite.. Felt like i wasted the money...

Managed to 'trade' the badges ystdae le.. Haha.. So kind of get my sis to stop bothering me bout the badges.. Haha..

Received a letter from NTU School of Communication and Information todae.. Was so excited to see the letter on my table when i got back from work todae.. Opened it thinking i'd be able to know the results already.. But instead it's an invitation for the Written Test and the Interview.. So looks like i gotta go down to NTU on 22nd April.. A saturday...

Went HouMall wth KKK juz now.. Original plan was to meet up wth JK @ Tampines for movie.. But JK was held back.. So movie was cancelled.. Me and KKK juz slack arnd HouMall for awhile.. Had out dinner and supper there..

Bon Voyage to KKK.. He's flying to Taiwan real soon..

Rather eventful April.. Started the month graduating from the Instructor Course.. Took my first lesson and gave my first lecture.. Managed to matched my first student to tutor.. Tmrl's my Wing's BBQ.. Nxt Tue is my TP test.. Den nxt Sat gotta go NTU le.. Hopefully luck will be on my side for all the events coming up...

Oh Layee, i wan the minnie mouse!!! So the trade is on rite? Piglet for the Minnie..
My sis is driving me nuts asking me everyday when i'm gg to get the Minnie...

Went DW's place for BBQ/Steamboat last nite.. JK and TYS were there as well.. Me and JK den stayed over at DW's place.. We wanted to watch movies.. But din even complete watchin a single show..

Went for soccer this morning.. Probably cos everyone din hav sufficient slp, and the weather was damn hot, it was not exactly an enjoyable session..

Came home after dinner.. Wasted the whole day away.. Doing nothin in particular..

Was it a stupid mistake?? It doesn't matter now does it.. I juz got to live wth it.. And the first thing i gotta do is cut down my expenses.. Not by a little, but as much as i can...

Haven felt so lost and 'weak' in life for a long time...

Small Class Gathering..

After work todae, met up wth a few ppl from 2So4 for dinner..
DM,RS, Caleb and WX were there.. We met at Kovan before heading to ChongPan Nasi Lemak.. WX came later.. Chatted quite abit.. But i failed to get anyone to get me students.. Sigh..

After dinner, we went to this cafe near Kovan, called Groovy Coconut i tink.. Not sure.. There can play boardgames as well.. But somehow, the only game WX brought out was the Connect4.. Haha.. Caleb treated us to the drinks.. Only Caleb got an alcoholic drink.. Rest of us, got fruit j smoothies,etc..

Chatted for quite some, watched Crime Watch and the 2100 Channel 8 show.. After taking pic, it was home sweet home...

Tmrl bball.. Gg to slp le.. Gotta wake up early tmrl..
