It's been awhile...

Hmm.. Been quite some time since i last blogged..

So wad have i been up to??

Well, i've been spending alot of money.. and i've been gettin into alot of trouble..

Ystdae a few of the class guys (including me lah) went to Suntec for dinner.. Had our dinner at Sizzler's.. Nice food and filling indeed.. But the price was still a little steep.. Not the first time i ate there.. Once in a while guess its ok.. Haha..
To tink last Sat juz ate at Pasta Mania and bought myself a set of earphones.. And this time the earphones i bought is apparently a gd one.. Haha.. Smthing wth a gd brand.. Lolz..

Juz came back from a jog wth WK.. I'm so fat nowadays.. Really shd be running more..

And so wad kind of trouble have i got myself into?? Well, its a long story.. But i got my punishments... Signed 2 extras if u noe wad they are.. Had to write statements somemore lor... Nvr write before.. Not gonna dwell on it..

Hmmm, reading blogs arnd, i realise smthing.. Ppl often like to use the initials of a person in their blogs and sms.. For example, they'll use 'kl' for me.. Or like 'WK' for Wee Keat.. For sms its still fine, cos the person u're msging probably noe this person as well.. But for blogs dun u tink its different?? I mean there may be people who read ur blog, but not noe who ur 'KY' or 'JH' all this are.. right??

Perhaps i shd go on a jian fei programme..

Nah.. I love food too much to do that.. And i love supper.. Haha..

Felt like ages before it ended.. Wanted to clear a whole day of off tmrl.. However, due to some stores, i'll have to go back to camp in the morning tmrl.. Sigh.. Nvrm.. I'll juz settle for the half day off..

But sadly, that does not mean long weekend for me.. Because, i'm on duty on Sat.. Wad luck.. Well, i'll juz get it all over and done... Sigh..

Our gd fren KKK is gg overseas again.. Haha.. Brunei this time i tink? Anyway all the best to u.. Not that i tink u'll suffer gg there as an officer.. Haha..

Alright.. i'm gg to relax the rest of todae.. And get ready to go back to camp tmrl morning again..

A rather short weekend.. and off i go for Exercise...

This weekend seems real short.. The only thing i seem to be able to remember from the whole weekend was the soccer session on Sat night lor.. And i dun recall myself doing anything else this weekend..

Tmrl's the start of the 4D3N exercise le.. Meaning i'll be away from home and away from my com for 4 days... Sian..

Juz smthing triggered in my mind after watching shows wth Jolin and Xiao Zhu.. Hmm..

My future is in a blur...

Not a gd weekend.. Finally received the letter from NTU SCI...
Was so anxious about it i opened it w/o even taking off my boots when i got home...

Sadly, but expectedly, i was rejected.. It was expected.. But still.. i feel the disappontment.. The sadness that engulfed me after reading the letter was not easy to take..
Took a cool shower to cool myself down..
All i could tell myself was.. 'u shd have known...'
I was juz being naive.. Being hopeful.. Being dumb...

Managed to gather most of the ppl at my place to discuss and check out the internet for our transport and accomodation for the Euro trip we are planning...
More or less the main route is out already.. Left all the mimor details..
After that we also went to the library after dinner to check out some travel guides..
Each got a book to read up.. On all the different places we're planning to go...

I took Paris.. Anyway it was me who suggested Paris to begin with.. So might as well be me.. And i wun mind learning a little of French juz in case we need it over there.. Haha..

Life hasn't been gg well for me.. There juz seems to be too many cock ups.. Too many failures.. Too many disappointments...
Now that i can't get into SCI.. I really dunno wad i gg to do.. Uni study wad?? I really dunnno.. Argh... Wad i wanna work as?? I have no idea too... My future is in a blur..

Its like driving in a car with no idea where u shd be heading.. As if that wasn't bad enuf, it has to start pouring and visibility drops further...

Ok.. i've typed alot.. Nothing to do.. Glad to see Er Ge's post.. Proving his existance in this cyberworld...

162 Days To O.R.D.!

The Da Vinci Code...

Juz got back from the movie.. The Da Vinci Code..
Hmm.. Not bad.. I mean, considering i at first thought i'd be disappointed cos i already read the book and i was thinking the movie's not gg to be able to bring out the story well.. But, its not so bad..

Because JK went Sentosa, we had to watch the late show.. At first wanted the 2350 show, but upon realising JK can make it earlier, we went for the 2130 show..
Me, Alvin and TYS met up earlier to get the tix.. Insanely, we met at bout 1230 at Suntec..
So we spent the whole afternoon there..

Playing LAN at Marina, den went to the arcade, where we spend money crazily on a few particular machines.. Of cos, me and TYS went for World Combat, hmm, the machine there not bad, at least its working properly, but we did complete the game.. With one token, though TYS died juz before the final boss did..

Den there was the 'Stacker', which i tink the 3 of us put in at least $3 each, haha.. Trying for the PSP.. And there was the bball shooting machine.. which i surprisingly came out bottoms, lolz..

And then, there was the round machine like a sphere which u can grab sweets.. There was this jackpot, which had lots of key chains and sweets, and it was near the edge.. So the 3 of us went on and try and try.. Alvin got the closest when he managed to push that thing near, but not over the edge.. Wasted..

So, wad a day it has been..

We were also talking, bout this trip which we wanna go on.. A trip to Europe.. Juz the few of us.. Hmm.. Details are still not out.. Hopefully, this will really happen.. It'll be an experience..

My com's acting strangely, and i dunnno wads wrong wth it.. Sigh..

Well, all good things muz come to an end..

Had a great weekend..

Let's see, on thurs i took half day, actually wasted it slping the afternoon away.. lolz.. Den it was DOTA in the evening till late..

Fri played soccer.. Den it was DOTA again..

Sat played bball.. Den in the evening went alvin's place watch FA Cup Final.. Wad a match man!!

This morning went KBox wth the usual ppl and some of the gers from s4..

Ended the day meeting alvin and jk for badminton at the sports hall.. can't play for nuts.. Me and jk were like clowns as we 'entertain' the crowd wth our 'great' skills... Lost to alvin's cousins..
Then went for supper.. Alvin's treat cos i din wanna take the commission from the tutoring from him.. I mean, i know this guy for like wad, 9+ years le lah..

Realise my weekend's got quite a few DOTA sessions.. But sports was still in the timetable.. Soccer, bball, and even badminton.. Haha.. Guess its impt to exercise.. anyway, we enjoy it.. Haha..

Haven heard from my 2 brudders for a long long time.. Esp Da Ge, haven seen him for ages.. Wonder how they're both doing.. Hope ur r fine and things have been running smoothly for ur !!

It's been a while...

Been some time since i blogged.. Haha.. Let's see, the last time i was here i was talking bout getting my new CPU..

Much things have happened from then till now.. Both sad and happy..

Maybe its because i've nvr worked in an office environment before.. But office politics really sux.. The backstabbing and all really are 'fatal'.. It's even worse in wad i've seen in JC ( if ur noe wad i'm talking bout).. Its really hard to 'survive' in the office.. Especially mine.. It seems that mine is the 'cream of the crop'.. Argh...

Had been playin alot of DOTA Lan recently.. Guess its one of those things a whole grp of ppl can go and do and not really spend that much money..

Yes.. I'm back to the cyber world.. After weeks of having to clear my mail using the coms in my office, i can finally now sit in the comfort of my home and use the com and go online.. Haha..

Muz thank a few ppl for making this possible..

Firstly to DH and my Er Ge.. Thanks to the 2 of them for gg all the way to Simlim with me to help me get my new CPU.. With their knowledge and experience, they helped me decide on the specs of my new CPU and everything.. Took almost the whole afternoon but neither of them complained at all.. Thanks guys!!

But it wasn't a smooth ride after that.. Encountered some problems setting up my internet and all.. But thanx to DH (again), TYS and Alvin (Gan) for all the effort they made in tryin to get everything in place..

Well, its a new CPU.. Meaning i lost all my data... All my songs... Argh.. So many of them.. Many probably i'll nvr be able to get them back.. Sigh..

So ppl, kindly do send me songs.. Yah.. Help me get my song database back in shape..

Well, it's here.. Tmrl will be my TP driving test le.. It'll be in the morning bout 10plus.. Wish me luck??

Kind of 'clinched my 2nd deal' this month.. Guess i've more or less got back the money i spent in the first place taking up this 'job'.. This week both my 'matches' will start work.. One on thurs and one on sat...

Quite alot of unhappy things happening in the office.. Not gg to talk bout them.. Dun wanna get into trouble..

Still got the written test and interview on saturday to 'look forward to' this sat.. Hmm .. Wad a week...

Oh Er Ge, u cannot make it for the BBQ?? Cannot change date for wadeva is preventing u from coming ar?? Hoping to see u there on 6th May.. Though i myself cannot be 100% sure i can make it... Ha..

Met WX on the bus todae in the morning... Haha.. He gg Khatib Camp.. For a 3 weeks course.. So might be meeting him more often.. Walking into camp saw Gary driving Angeline into camp.. Haha.. Probably she'll drive the car out after Gary alight lor..

Raindrops keep fallin on my head...

Juz got back from a short bball session wth JK..

After lunch at HP, it started to drizzle.. But i still walked home.. I like the feeling of the raindrops fallin on me.. Not a heavy rain but a drizzle is nice.. I always like the rain.. Provided I'm not gg out for anything.. A walk in the drizzle can freshen me up.. Add in the slow love song.. Can really enjoy the song.. Haha.. But now the drizzle has turned into a heavy storm.. So... Haha..

Kind of regretted playin pool last nite.. Felt like i wasted the money...

Managed to 'trade' the badges ystdae le.. Haha.. So kind of get my sis to stop bothering me bout the badges.. Haha..

Received a letter from NTU School of Communication and Information todae.. Was so excited to see the letter on my table when i got back from work todae.. Opened it thinking i'd be able to know the results already.. But instead it's an invitation for the Written Test and the Interview.. So looks like i gotta go down to NTU on 22nd April.. A saturday...

Went HouMall wth KKK juz now.. Original plan was to meet up wth JK @ Tampines for movie.. But JK was held back.. So movie was cancelled.. Me and KKK juz slack arnd HouMall for awhile.. Had out dinner and supper there..

Bon Voyage to KKK.. He's flying to Taiwan real soon..

Rather eventful April.. Started the month graduating from the Instructor Course.. Took my first lesson and gave my first lecture.. Managed to matched my first student to tutor.. Tmrl's my Wing's BBQ.. Nxt Tue is my TP test.. Den nxt Sat gotta go NTU le.. Hopefully luck will be on my side for all the events coming up...

Oh Layee, i wan the minnie mouse!!! So the trade is on rite? Piglet for the Minnie..
My sis is driving me nuts asking me everyday when i'm gg to get the Minnie...

Went DW's place for BBQ/Steamboat last nite.. JK and TYS were there as well.. Me and JK den stayed over at DW's place.. We wanted to watch movies.. But din even complete watchin a single show..

Went for soccer this morning.. Probably cos everyone din hav sufficient slp, and the weather was damn hot, it was not exactly an enjoyable session..

Came home after dinner.. Wasted the whole day away.. Doing nothin in particular..

After work todae, met up wth a few ppl from 2So4 for dinner..
DM,RS, Caleb and WX were there.. We met at Kovan before heading to ChongPan Nasi Lemak.. WX came later.. Chatted quite abit.. But i failed to get anyone to get me students.. Sigh..

After dinner, we went to this cafe near Kovan, called Groovy Coconut i tink.. Not sure.. There can play boardgames as well.. But somehow, the only game WX brought out was the Connect4.. Haha.. Caleb treated us to the drinks.. Only Caleb got an alcoholic drink.. Rest of us, got fruit j smoothies,etc..

Chatted for quite some, watched Crime Watch and the 2100 Channel 8 show.. After taking pic, it was home sweet home...

First time in my NS life i had to do work at home.. But managed to finish the work by Sat.. Haha..

Ystdae morning played bball.. DW drove here to pick me up after pickin JK up.. An ok session..
Went out for dinner wth almost the whole of Senghou+affiliations (except for KKK) and then played arcade.. Haha.. Went to Alf's place to watch EPL after that..

Todae morning it was soccer.. WK got really pissed off todae after being left out for a match and when only his order for drinks was not taken.. He almost juz walked off.. Why take it to heart when u noe JK was juz jokin wth u? ..

Went home to slack till driving at 1800.. JK was jio-ing me to watch Art of Seduction.. Haha.. ok lah..watched abit.. rather funny..

Todae did parallel parking.. Not that bad lah.. Still manageable..
After that went to meet JK for dinner.. Discussed bout University and work.. My future seems so uncertain.. So unpredictable..

Gg back to IPC tmrl.. Thank goodness its stay out..

Enlightened??

Had been on Instructor Preparatory Course (IPC) since Mon and it'll only end on 5th April..

A minute of anger will cost u 60 seconds of happiness.. Is it worth it?
Life is not very long.. Its too short for anyone to be angry or upset.. Why not lead a happy life?

Many ppl, like myself, serving National Service are not happy.. But to think bout it, no matter u like it or not, the 2 years still muz be served.. So why not make urself happy? Why waste ur life being upset bout it, esp when there is nothing we can do bout it.. I'd say i'm lucky to be a medic specialist.. I mean it is a fact that NS had gave me the chance to become a Paramedic Lvl 2.. For free.. And now i'm on a course which teaches me how to teach, how to supervise, how to instruct.. Juz maybe, these skills i learnt will be useful to me nxt time?

There is always a bright side of things in all situations.. Why not appreciate the bright side more??

Ultimately, the most important thing in life is to be happy.. (at least for me).. And when u're happy, u can go on and try and make lifes happy for others.. That way, life will be much more meaningful..

Soccer.. Driving..

Morning was soccer as usual wth JK,WK and KKK.. KKK ar, nxt time wanna send reminder ar, muz send earlier.. I mean we're suppose to meet at 9am.. Then u only remind me to bring the book at 9plus.. By the time i see the msg i reach there liao lor..

Anyway, soccer was quite gd.. Though we still lost majority of the games ( i tink).. But we still lasted in the court for quite some time.. I scored quite alot todae.. Haha.. Probably because i'm the only attacker in the team.. Haha.. JK was solid behind.. Though his shooting is. erm.. a little off.. haha..

Came home shower le den go for driving le.. Todae learn vertical parking.. Its ok lah.. At least i din knock down any poles.. Haha.. Though there was once i almost did.. Its not that difficult wth the poles lah.. No wonder so many ppl pass le then parking cannot make it.. Haha..

On my way home after soccer, there was this 'L' plate car that went pass me.. Inside, the student is a teenage girl, dressed wth very little cloth but plenty of makeup.. It set me thinking.. If the girl went for the TP test like that, will she have a higher chance of passing than i do? Probably yes.. Well, maybe that is the reason why most drivers out there who always get honked at are mostly girls.. LOL..

Went out bout 2145 last nite to meet up wth some of my course mates.. Couple of them drove us to Arab Street.. There we had supper at this restaurant.. Its rather special, cos they actually had a kind of room where there is a tv and radio and everything for the 12 of us..
After food (the kebabs were gd), we smoked this thing called 'sheesha' (not sure if thats how u spell it).. Its basically like smoking flavoured smoke from this thing that looks like u're taking opium.. After smoking the 'sheesha', we headed to East Coast where we sat by the beach and talk cock.. Some of the older guys were talking bout their love experiences..

Then those driving sent the rest home.. I reached home only like 0430.. I typed this post but somehow there was some problem posting it.. So i'm only posting it now..

Driving later cancelled..

Cheap Japanese Food ...

Whole day spent @ Medical Centre again..

However, todae we were dismissed much earlier.. By 1640 i was outta the place..

Met up wth JK at AMK for dinner.. We decided to go for smthing different todae instead of the hawker.. So we went to the nearby Japanese Food Restaurant.. There the price of the food's reasonable.. My set meal costs only $2.90.. And it includes free flow hot green tea.. JK ordered a set meal as well.. Then we shared Fried Udon for $3.90.. Worth it leh.. Haha..

Played bball again todae.. Went to 3 different places to look for place to play.. Ended playin at the first court.. Sway siah..

Tmrl's last day of attachment.. Fri is back to camp for POP.. Yeah.. Hooray..

Another day of Medical Attachment's over.. Last 2 days...

Met up wth JK at AMK for dinner again todae.. After that it's bball again.. WK failed to turn up after considering the time..

Played wth this grp of ppl who ORD-ed 10yrs ago.. Haha.. No match for them.. Ended wth a 2 on 2 game which had me and JK crashing to defeats against 2 of them.. I apologise for my lousy performance.. To tell the truth, i was rather pissed wth both myself and JK for all the misses we made and crazy drives we made.. I juz felt there was no trust in the team.. When i passed the ball to JK, i wasn't in the least confident he'll make the basket.. Perhaps he had the same feeling i dunno.. Wadeva the case, we gained experience...

A fellow course mate came up to me todae during one of the slack time at the Medical Attachment... He asked if I had ever been attached before.. My reply to him was: wad do u tink? He took a few seconds to ponder bout it before answering: no.. So i asked him why?? He said I appeared too much like a kid.. Like a child.. More like a little brother..

I tht bout it.. I have to admit.. My thinking is rather childish.. The way i behave and the way i present myself doesn't seem like a young adult most of the time.. I always show ppl attitude.. Always 生孩子气.. Guess its not easy being a fren of mine... Appreciate the tolerance of my frens who try to cope wth me..
When i'll 'grow up' ? I dunno.. Maybe never..

Firstly, i'd wanna wish KKK a Happy Birthday.. 20yrs old liao lor.. Not young le.. Haha.. Dun worry bout me.. I'm still 19 as of now.. Still a teenager.. Haha..

Todae's my 2nd at Med Centre attachment.. Rather sian lor.. But at least get to stay out lah..
After a long day, went to AMK met JK , who's on course and also staying out, for dinner..
Wanted to jio WK join us for bball but WK say he wanna watch Campus Superstar, so not interested..
So only me and JK went to play.. Took KKK's bike for a ride.. Went to the HP court only to find out its occupied by a couple of teams of 5 playing match.. So we headed to court near police station.. Sadly, there are some construction works gg on.. Cannot play.. So we got no choice but to go to the court nearest to his place.. Played 1 on 1.. I TCMI lor.. No match for him.. Haha.. Too slow and clumsy liao..

Tmrl planning to get some exercise again.. Wanna keep it like a routine.. this shd help reduce my tummy... Haha..

Wanted to loan out a book from JC time but when i tried to search for it, i can't find it.. Then the thought came to my mind that i may have left it in my locker in SRJC.. Argh... I wonder how much stuff i left behing in that locker.. Haha.. Hopefully not alot..

Eventful weekend wth high expenses.. ..

Had been quite an eventful weekend.. Sum up abit on past few days..

Fri went Seoul Garden wth course mates...

Sat had driving, then went SAFTI MI for Caleb's Commissioning Parade.. Sword Of Honour lor..

Todae morning played soccer (hopefully this sports regime of mine can keep up and help to reduce my tummy).. Only got 4 of us (me+ JK+KKK+WK).. Though we din play many matches, but we got lots of playing time cos all our games are long ones.. Haha.. KKK got injured and can't cycle back.. So i cycled his bike home..

Then juz now went to watch movie wth JK and TYS.. KKK last min pang sei us AGAIN..Ha.. Still can remember the last time he pulled out for bball last min.. Grr.. Haha..
Went to Suntec (cos its Eng Wah ;-p).. Me and JK went together.. Because of the IT Fair, there was a crowd... So TYS tried to direct us on a route that can escape the crowd..
But, probably if u're reading this, u'll noe that me and JK aren't exactly the familiar wth places like Suntec and Marina Square.. Haha.. And so, without fail, we got lost..LOL.. Yup we did.. Took some time for us to navigate our way to Suntec...
Watched Underworld :Evolution.. I din wanna watch the show de lor.. And its only because they agreed we won't watch it that i go.. But TYS bought the wrong tix.. So... The movie was ok lah.. The action was not too bad.. But due to the fact that we din watch the first Underworld, we were lost initially.. Which is the reason why i din wanna watch it..

Tmrl all the way till Thurs will be on attachment at Sembawang Camp.. Stayin out.. Hope to be able to play bball in the evening or run abit.. See how it goes...

Played bball wth JK this morning... Only got 2 of us.. So at the court we challenged 2 other guys to a match.. We played brilliantly i would say.. Maybe not so much in terms of defence, but our attack was unstoppable.. Though our opponents weren't exactly that fantastic players.. Haha.. Passes were great.. Telepathy was there.. Finishing was there.. Good game we had..

Driving this evening.. WK's already had like double the number of lessons i had even though we started learning together.. Lidat how siah.. Haha..

Wanted to watch a movie wth JK and TYS wth our 'vouchers'.. But both Munich and Underworld only have first row seats left.. So end up we juz have dinner at KFC and then walk arnd abit before heading to TYS's place.. Watch abit of soccer, then have to leave le.. JK gotta book in 2359.. But end up he still gotta take a cab.. Ha..

Life in camp has began to tone down already.. Now the issue is where we're gg to be posted to.. Keeping my fingers crossed.. We'll see..

Going outfield again..

Went bball wth JK and DW todae.. If not will be rottin at home whole day lor..

Played a few half court 3 on 3 first.. We lost most of them.. Only managed to win 2 i tink.. sadly.. Basically all 3 of us were not exactly on form u see.. And our opponents weren't exactly easy..
Later JK and DW participated in a 5 on 5 full court match which i sit out.. Quite a few pro in the match.. Very enjoyable to watch.. The guy I call ' yi zheng feng' (cos he moves so fast its like a gush of wind).. Den there was this old man who obviously was playin in a real profesional team when he was young.. And there was the super point guard i spotted.. Haha..

Went for dinner at Kovan though we went HP first..
Ate at the hawker.. Den headed to the arcade to play World Combat..
First round, JK died first.. Then me and DW died in the second last stage.. Can't remember who died first.. Second round, DW died first.. Rather early in the game.. Followed by me.. JK was the last to die.. Last round, JK decided to give it a miss.. Me and DW went all the way to the last stage.. Before fighting the boss, we die le..
So in the end, we din manage to complete the game a single time at all.. Wasted..

Tmrl playing soccer in the morning.. Afternoon got driving.. Then gotta book in earlier tmrl nite.. 2000hrs.. To prepare for field camp on mon.. Gg outfield again.. Long time no go outfield liao lor.. Haha.. Almost everyone in our course have developed rashes due to contact wth the grass on the field we used last few days.. So we're all like scratcing and scratching.. Argh....

My weekend is shortened due to the fact that i'm on duty on Sun.. Sian.. But then again, considering the number of ppl in my course doing guard duty in Sun as well, i shd be happy i'm down for Fire Pique Duty..

This means, i'll have to book in tmrl morning le..

Fri we were lucky to be able to book out earlier than usual.. For the first time in dunno how many weeks, we actually booked out when the sun haven set.. In fact, when i got home, the sun's still there.. Haha.. Spent the whole Fri juz in front my my com.. Watched some vids from youtube..

This morning was spent in front of my com as well.. Only after lunch, did i went to JK's place where the 2 of us played DOTA on LAN using his com and laptop.. Not bad.. I use Rogue Knight and he used the Pandaran Battlemaster..

Played bball as well.. Met this Pro that i met the other time.. He's still as pro as before.. And he's probably younger than me.. To WK, he's the guy we saw last time which i say he look like JJ Lin.. Actually managed to play a 5 on 5 match.. Lost.. I din really contribute much.. The pro was on our team.. and he practically scored everything on his own.. Damn pro.. But the other team was gd as well.. So... Too bad...

After dinner at Mac, went back to his place to play DOTA.. Tried 3 on 4 .. End up gettin owned.. So we played a last round of 3 V 3 which we win.. Getting the hang of it..

And so, that sums up my weekend.. Very uneventful lah.. Not that i not happy wth it.. But maybe if i could go out wth a girl i like.. Haha.. Of course for that to happen, i have to first find a girl i like and she muz like me as well.. Hmm.. Sounds a 'little' difficult to fulfill both criteria.. Haha..

Alright.. Time to go pack up abit.. Dun really need to slp early cos i'll be slping the whole day tmrl.. Wad a way to spend my weekend.. As if spending it in front of my com ain't bad enuf..

Ystdae went to watch Jarhead wth JK,TYS and KKK.. Its a lousy show.. Thats all i can say.. For those of u who wanna watch the show.. Forget it.. Save the money.. Had dinner at Kenny Rogers.. Long time nvr eat there le..

After the movie, we managed to catch the last train home..

This morning at bout 0230, when i',m bout to slp, i receive a msg... Its from KKK.. He says he's not feeling well and decided not to play bball.. BBall's at 0900hrs lor.. And our team had 5 ppl including him.. He pull out, how am i suppose to find a replacement, if there is one in the first place.. His reason was that he's not feelin well.. Seriously, how bad can it get?? Juz less than 2hrs ago he was still fine...

We ended up playing half court the whole day cos we din have enuf players...

I dunno.. Maybe KKK really got very unwell... It not fair for me to say whether ornot he's well enuf to play.. Its juz that i'm very disappointed that after waiting for so long, i tot we could finally have a 5 on5 match... JK was equally disappointed when i break the news to him.. I guess we can't blame him.. In the first place, he's not as interested in bball as the 2 of us..

DW only reached home in the morning at 0600, but because he promised me to turn up, he still came.. And not only he came, he came on time.. For that, i thank you DW, for keeping ur promise.. And i respect ur passion for the sports.. TYS was sick as well.. But he too turn up.. I thank him too for that..

A little comments for our guys...

DW's the most outstanding player on our side todae.. Managing to come out tops in rebounds.. He surely was an asset to any team.. Though the finish is still not there yet... Gd effort in trying to improve his game.. 8.0 /10.0

TYS as usual probably came out tops in scoring.. Though he's sick, he's still easily the fastest player.. Juz the usual him.. Scoring like he always do.. 7.5/10.0

JK's probably the one most disappointed in his own performance.. He missed a gd number of chances to score from easy positions and there's wasn't much participation from him in most games.. 5.5/10.0 for you since u're so disappointed.. Haha..

Me?? Aiyah cannot make it.. Not worth mentioning..

Gg to have to book in soon.. The familiar very sian feelin is here again.. Sigh..

Oh, Valentine's Day is coming.. So i'll wish all u ppl, Happy Valentine's Day.. Mine's gg to be spent in camp.. Juz like many of u.. To me, its juz another day.. No big deal bout it.. I've went thru 20 of them, and not one was spent in any special day before... Haha...

Final Test Over..

Finally, the Final Theory and Practical Tests are over le.. I managed to passed both.. Phew..

This means, that now, i'm a qualified Paramedic Level 2 !!

BUT..

Thats not the end of the course... Nxt week, the military phase will commence.. 5 more weeks to go before i POP.. Hopefully i can last till the end of the course..

This weekend will be a gd break for me.. After all the tests and the attachment and the final tests, tink we deserve a gd weekend..
In the military phase, there'll still be tests to take care of.. .So its not exactly relax yet.. can't wait to POP.. March 17...

My last duty for this attachment le.. Later at 2100hrs i'll start work till 0800hrs tmrl morning..

Stayed home the whole day todae.. Dun feel like gg out anywhere.. Anyway, there's no one to go out wth, and there's no place i wanna go.. So i juz stayed home..
Took a nap in the afternoon.. Hopefully, that'll be enuf to keep me awake when i have a call later.. Hopefully, there won't be much calls.. Not only for my sake, but less call means less ppl get into any problems..

Tmrl will be my off day.. Only need to report back to camp wed afternoon..

Alright.. Going to prepare and leave for Bishan Fire Station le.. I din noe it existed till this attachment... Haha..

Ystdae morning played bball wth JK,DW and TYS.. Quite an ok session.. Took some time to try and teach DW some stuff.. And once again, 3-pointers proved to be the deciding factor in the game.. Haha...

After lunch wth them, i hurried home and left for TTSH liao.. On afternoon shift mah..

After my shift, met up wth JK and TYS again at Bishan to watch a movie.. Chiong like shit to get there on time.. Luckily i made it.. Quite a nice show..

After the movie, actually went to JK's place to chiong Dynasty Warriors till like 0300hrs.. Came home showered then slp..

Todae on afternoon shift at TTSH again.. So its the weekend huh... Sigh..

Still got night shift wth ambulance tmrl.. and tt'll be the end of my attachment.. Tue will be an off day for me.. A day for me to rest...

I did it !!!!

My first day on ambulance attachment todae.. Morning shift..

Start day only got call liao.. First call was hypoglycaemia... Glucose given and positive results very soon..

Den after that was a call to CJC.. This student was complaining of abdominal pain.. Nothing much we can do.. Again send to TTSH...

After that there was a long break thru the whole afternoon there was no call..
At bout 5 plus, there was a call to a school again.. This time its Catholic High School.. Student was hit by softball in the eye.. Unable to see wth injured eye.. This time we send him to KK hospital..

After dinner, i tot tt'll be the end of the day le.. But i was wrong.. At 7plus, there was a call... Patient suffering from some spinal injury and was unable to walk.. Clinic called for the ambulance..

When we reach back to the fire station, i tot tt will be the end of the day.. But juz as the ambulance reach the fire station, another call came.. Since the nxt shift still upstairs, we went for the call.. Call for DIB.. Elderly man in his 60's.. Gave him O2 and we loaded him and headed for TTSH.. First unstable case of the day for us.. On the way there, he went into respiratory arrest.. Had to bag him.. I could recognise many 'classical' signs when he collapse.. The eyeballs juz flip.. Not PEARL anymore.. Capillary refill delayed.. I even had the chance to auscultate him to hear crackles..

Reach TTSH resus.. No pulse liao.. In the resus, i did chest compressions as one of the doctor continue to bag him.. I was really afraid he'll juz...... But i was hoping the whole time... Come back!! After some time, i stopped to check for pulse.. Lo and behold, there was a strong carotid pulse!! In fact, there was even a strong femural pulse!! So happy lor.. The doctor even turned to me and said i juz save his life.. The feeling is juz great.. Went out to see the tear-filled eyes of the wife looking at us, muttering thanks... Really hope he recovered after we left.. As the ambulance crew, we can't really wait there...

When i got back, my paramedic was telling the other paramedic how i managed to get the pulse back after CPR.. She told me its a quite rare thing for a person who has collapsed to get a pulse back.. Say i'm really lucky.. Me, i'm juz glad i could do something..

Muz thank my paramedic, or crew leader, alot.. She really made the effort to make sure i have chance to look, listen and feel for the various signs and symptoms.. She was very nice and helpful when at the end of the call, i discuss bout the call wth her.. She taught me alot of stuff.. And also refreshed alot of stuff for me..

Started the day thinking it'll be very relax.. Ended the day feeling tired but happy.. A fruitful day indeed..

Tmrl is back to TTSH for afternoon shift.. Feelin tired...

Juz as i was gettin use to this life, tmrl i'll be heading to Bishan Fire station instead.. I'll be attached to one of the ambulance crew there.. Hopefully, tmrl no one will need the ambulance ar.. Be safe everyone.. i'll be praying for ur..

Sad to say, i have duties over the weekend as well.. Both Sat and Sun i'll be on afternoon shift @ TTSH.. Meaning i'll only be free in the morning.. I'll get my break on Tue..

My com's still problematic.. Really tempted to get a new com.. But $$$...

I heard that for those born in the year of the tiger, this year will only have gd luck in romance.. Den how to make money?? Aiyoyo..

Finally..

Finally my com is back in operation.. It has been down since a few days before CNY.. Wanted to formet it but due to some prob, ended up repairing windows.. Anyway, its working again.. Gd enuf..

CNY was fine.. Only difference this year was on tue, went visiting teachers wth some classmates.. Morning went Mr Kwek's place.. There, Joshua and Josiah were introduced to us.. Haha.. Took some pics.. Had a gd chat.. After that we went for lunch before headin to J8, intending to watch a movie.. But in the end, we din.. Headed to AMK for LAN and arcade.. Followed by an early dinner.. Den after a long wait, we went to Mrs Ivy Lim's place.. There, the centre of attraction was the 10 moths old baby Ethen.. Sadly, a few of us have to leave early due to national committments.. Haha..

Todae's my first day of attachment... Day shift at TTSH.. Taking BP,hypo count,ECG, etc almost whole day.. Was translator for a few cases as well... Many of the patients were elderly people.. Rather sad to see them in pain.. Did my best to ensure their comfort as long as they were in my charge..

Tmrl's TTSH day shift again.. Its not an easy job.. Tts all i have to say..

More or less completed my CNY shopping todae.. Went Queensway to shop wth DW,WK and KKK..

Had driving todae as well.. Not a bad session indeed... Haha.. Overtaking cars like quite fun.. LOL.. But still need to work on keeping the speed in an appropriate range..

Was chatting wth TYS bout the 'future'.. ORD and all..

I dunno why i'm feeling this.. But i'm actually quite 'afraid' to ORD.. I mean.. At least now i'm having an 'income'.. Wads gg to happen after i ORD? Will i be able to get a job to sustain my life?? More worrying, is during the time i'm studying in the Uni.. Will i be able to still work at the same time?? Will i earn enuf to sustain my life there?? I'm really feelin worried bout my 'future'..

Everyone keeps reminding me on how dangerous riding a motorbike can be.. I know all that.. But..... Sigh... I'm probably gg ahead wth my plans to get a bike once i get my 2B licence..

Life hasn't been easy on course in camp..I dun tink anyone will be able to understand my feelings.. Like others, i'm a selfish person as well.. Only seek to be understood but never try and understand others.. And probably because of that, no one understand me as well.. I wun say life is hell, but it juz hasn't been that smooth-sailing.. Still hanging on..

Less than an hour before i have to leave home and head for camp le.. Sigh..

This weekend spend alot of monet again..
Sat went Bugis... Bought myself a pair of jeans.. And then me, JK and DW also shared the cost of a new Spalding Bball.. After our shopping session, headed to KKK's place to watch EPL.. Its been a long time since we did that..

This morning played bball for the first time in months.. Of course we played wth the new ball.. Maybe its been too long since i last played.. But i ended up wth injuries... My left pinky is already swollen despite the cold compress i applied once i reached home.. It'll probably remain swollen for week plus... And the pain will probably stay longer... Sigh..
Then my right wrist is hurting as well.. Hopefully its only a slight strain to the tendon...

It's gg to be a long week, considering the last two weeks had been 4 days week..

Had driving lesson todae.. Learn about moving on slopes and blind spots.. Had an ok session.. Much better than the last session.. April 18th.. My test date...

Had been watchin 仙剑奇侠传 this weekend.. Liu Yi Fei is soooo cute lah... Haha.. I'm in love.. LOL..

A sad thing thats gg to happen on comin Fri.. I'm on duty.. Ppl bookout i stay for another nite.. Sigh..

TYS was telling all of us bout the CNY activitites.. Visiting Mrs Ivy Lim and Mr Kwek.. Sounds cool to me.. haha... More ang bao.. lol..

Tempted to put more money into the internet thingy.. I already got my money plus the 'earnings' from my last investment back le.. Shd I???

Raining ~ The sky is falling..

Its raining out there now.. Again.. I dun even tink the rain stopped since last nite..

And so the weekend is coming to an end.. It was a essential break to me this weekend.. Last week had been a long week (Even though it started on tue).. It was the first time we did I/V (Intravenous Infusion) with a 16g cannula.. Everyone was feelin a little stress bout it.. For me and my buddy, we both managed to make it 'one shot one kill'.. So we only shot once... But due to the overwhelming miss rate, I had to allowed my arm to be shot 3 more times in the week.. And there was blood screening to be done, so we also learn how to draw blood.. and ended up drawing blood from each other instead.. Haha.. Many lessons, practical and theory.. Many tests coming up also.. Everyone feelin stressed.. I'm tryin hard to take it easy.. Its juz that i know, that if i fail to learn the skills properly, nxt time i'd be handling a person's life... Also had our AED course le.. Meaning we're all certified AED (automatic external defibrillator) users.. Cool.. I clear u clear everyone clear.. Giving shock...

Played soccer on Fri nite.. Abit pissed wth KKK i muz admit, for refusing to play for fear of dirtying his shoes.. WTH?? Anyway, the remaining 4 of us went on to play and had quite a nice time.. But all the while i had this feeling JK's not playing whole-heartedly..

Driving lesson on Sat.. First time in a month plus.. Started horribly with the car 'dying' so many times... Learn Direction Change.. The instructor praised me for my handling of the steering wheel and my control of the reverse..

Supposed to be playin soccer.. But the 'sky is fallin'.. Wasted..

Was juz reading thru some blogs (my com sputtered abit of life todae and i was able to open IE).. As this new year starts, ppl have different feelings to it.. JK's like a little depress to me.. Er Ge on the other hand was much more prepared to face the new year.. Probably the ORD date really does matter.. Me, i'm juz totally clueless how my last year in NS will be like.. I've been a 2nd year soldier since like 1 month ago.. But i'm still a trainee and will be one till March 17.. I'm juz gg to take it as it come.. And hopefully, i'll still be standing after each wave..

Bookin in early tonight cos they wan us to study.. WTH.. 1900hrs.. Sigh.. Wth 2 major tests coming up this week, its gg to be one hella big wave coming.. And include 2 I/V sessions and another Medic Obstacle Course to 'look forward to'.. Well, at least our allowance is coming and there's a break thanks to Haji Holiday.. Sigh..

Com's in unstable condition.. Pulse rapid and weak..tachycardia.. Breathing is shallow.. Skin is pale,cool, clammy.. I've already given oxygen ( i do hav an external fan).. Going into shock soon.. Argh....

Long weekend over le.. Tmrl morning gotta book in le.. Sad Sad...

Morning went KBox todae..Long time nvr go le.. Quite a big grp todae.. 8 ppl total.. 5 guys (me,tys,dw,kkk and wk) and 3 girls (Eve, yvonne amd SH).. And as usual, we over shot the K Lunch timing of 1400hrs.. Haha..

After the Kbox session, KKK and WK went home le.. Rest of us went to town to meet DM.. But DM was late... So while me and DW decided to chiong World Combat first.. And for the first time, we managed to complete the game using only 1 credit per person.. Though i was hanging on for my life as i ended the game wth only 1 health.. Stress..

Went window shopping at Orchard.. Me and TYS did buy a shirt each.. But that was all we got.. Rest of the day the 3 of us were juz walking in and outta shops.. See here see there.. Dinner at the Republic Foodcourt was hella ex.. Haha.. Left for home at bout 2100 bah..

Another day of high expenses.. But to tink of it.. Nowadays, i only spend on weekends.. So its really not that bad.. Oh.. was so tempted to buy books to read (Narnia or Eldest).. Lucky the queue was super long , so i din spend further.. Haha.. Anyway i'm probably borrowing Narnia from Layee.. So not a prob.. Haha..

Ystdae hitch a ride on my fren's bike after booking out to Sengkang before taking a bus home.. On the way, decided to meet JK for dinner at HP.. After dinner, went his place play NFS Most Wanted.. At first we 2 and his bro play winner in loser out for awhile.. Den when his bro go slp, me and him play the career mode.. Only left his place like 1plus..

At first wanted to go out in the afternoon de.. But i fell aslp.. Now too late to go anywhere le.. Anyway also no one free.. Probably gg to end up juz gg to Alf's place to watch EPL and play some games todae..

Hmm.. i dun understand why so many ppl dun like The Chronicles of Narnia.. I do tink the movie is nice.. Which is the reason why, i'm planning to buy (or borrow) the books to read.. Supposedly, my fren told me the price of the whole set is like $90+.. Ouch.. That will burn one big hole in my wallet.. So i'm thinking of buying one by one.. More managable lidat.. Maybe one book per month..

As usual, 93.3FM is having the Top 100 songs countdown todae for the year 2005.. Its amazing how some songs i tot only came out like in the late months of 2005 made it so high in the charts.. I'll talk bout the countdown more when its over lah.. Now in Top 20 le... So many nice nice songs in a row.. Always like this kind of countdown.. Haha...

Nights off..

Juz a nights off tonight.. Meaning i gotta go back to camp later.. Sian..

Had lesson on Sports Medicine todae but a Physio.. Cool.. Learn alot of stuff i din noe.. And also corrected some stuff that i use to tink... Fruitful lesson..

After this few weeks in tis course, Learnt lots bout lotsa injuries and everything bout them.. Also saw alot of pics of all the different kind of injuries.. Its really very saddening to see all the pics of all the injured small children.. They are still so young.. So helpless.. But earthquakes and tsunami do not select casualties.. Very sad indeed.. Also, there are plenty of RTA (Road Traffic Accidents) pics.. As all of u noe, all the motorcyclists are very much vulnerable that car drivers.. And so, there are also lotsa pics of motorcyclists injured.. Some probably already dead.. Sigh.. Seeing all the pics is like constantly reminding me that its very dangerous to ride.. Nights off..

Juz a nights off tonight.. Meaning i gotta go back to camp later.. Sian..

Had lesson on Sports Medicine todae but a Physio.. Cool.. Learn alot of stuff i din noe.. And also corrected some stuff that i use to tink... Fruitful lesson..

After this few weeks in tis course, Learnt lots bout lotsa injuries and everything bout them.. Also saw alot of pics of all the different kind of injuries.. Its really very saddening to see all the pics of all the injured small children.. They are still so young.. So helpless.. But earthquakes and tsunami do not select casualties.. Very sad indeed.. Also, there are plenty of RTA (Road Traffic Accidents) pics.. As all of u noe, all the motorcyclists are very much vulnerable that car drivers.. And so, there are also lotsa pics of motorcyclists injured.. Some probably already dead.. Sigh.. Seeing all the pics is like constantly reminding me that its very dangerous to ride.. But i noe, i'm probably still gg to ride a bike after i ORD.. Also, it also reminds me daily, how dangerous it is to speed on the road, be it car or bike.. Merry Christmas!!!

OMG!! Its like 5am now... And i juz came outta the shower.. Haha.. Had an enjoyable day todae..

Morning played bball wth JK,DW and Alvin (Lim).. Though the ring was abit too 'tight'.. Haha..
Had brunch @ HP as usual ($4).. Den i headed for a hair cut at the barber near my place ($9)..
Went home.. Slacked at the com all the way till its time to meet up wth some of my classmates.. Went to Suntec.. Waited in the queue for awhile but finally got our table in NYDC where we had dinner ($22.60).. Den we decided to catch a movie.. Chronicles of Narnia, the lion the witch and the wardrobe.. ( $9.50).. But it was only like 9plus when we finish dinner.. And the movie was at 2320.. So we went walking arnd abit.. Saw this Addidas shirt i like.. But there were no more stock of the size i wan.. Sian.. So ended up din buy anything.. Seriously need to shop for my CNY's clothes lor.. After that went to the arcade play abit ($3).. After that went in for the movie.. Shared the family combo wth JK ($4)..I tink its a rather nice movie.. Dunno why, JK,Alvin and Caleb din like it.. I tot the director did well in converting this story from the book into a movie.. And i do tink the storyline is great.. Very tempted to read the book.. Anyone got the book can lend me?? Haha..

After the movie, we started to walk.. Aimlessly at first.. Den we decided to head for Lau Pa Sat for supper.. Was a really long walk.. Took a break at a 7-11 along the way.. Got some drinks ($2).. Also took a toilet break for JK at a coffeeshop along the way.. Finally reach Lau Pa Sat already like 3plus le.. Had supper ($3).. After that we started hunting for cab home le.. But there was no available cab at all.. So we started walking.. Basically, i tink we covered all the roads in the area todae.. walked round in big circles.. Haha.. Splitted into 4 in each cab and headed home ($7)..

This totals up my expenses todae to about $65.. Whoa.. Stress.. Tts alot of money lor.. But i did had lotsa fun.. Its always great gg out wth all the guys.. Haha.. Anyway its xmas.. Spend abit more lor.. haha..

Well.. Guess i shd try and get some slp.. Though its already like 0530hrs.. If in camp i would have woken up and fall in like 10mins ago le..

Xmas wth coursemates...

After booking out todae, instead of gg home or go out wth the usual ppl, instead i headed to Jalan Kayu.. I was one of the four that took OC's car.. The rest either ride bike or take bus.. Our whole course plus instructors, went to Jalan Kayu for a dinner together..

Ate alot of stuff.. Kambing soup was nice.. The murtabak was great.. And who can forget the satays.. haha... Each one of us paid $3 den the rest of the bill settled by our Course Senior Instructor... Then after dinner was the gift exchange.. Very funny session... There were of course normal gifts like chocolates.. Then there was gifts like condoms.. pregnancy kit.. some durex special gel.. LOL.. Quite some fun...

After that hitch a ride on fren's bike to Sengkang to take a bus home..

Tmrl morning playing bball.. Hope the weather's good.. Then in the evening meeting up wth the class.. I seriously wonder how many will turn up.. But then again, its the quality, not the quantity that matters.. Haha..

Nights out..

Wonderin wad i'm doing online and blogging now on a Wed nite?? Haha.. Well, i got to stay out todae.. Thanx to the A & P test in the morning (which i scored 'relatively well'), while others got night off, a few of us got to stay out, and report back to camp the nxt day in the morning.. Haha..

Oh, and i juz completed my Basic Cardiac Life Support on Mon.. So level up le.. haha.. No more Heartsavers.. I/V todae for me was fine, one shot one hit..But due to the rain, booked out abit late..

Met up wth WK at HouMall, to get my present for gift-exchange for my course(camp) mates.. In the shop some embarrasing things happened.. Shan't explain.. Anyway, got the present, and then played a little pool, before we headed for HP to have supper wth JK..

Life as a trainee again hasn't been easy.. But i'm still hanging on.. I'm still surviving wth a smile on my face.. Ok.. Better go and slp le.. Tmrl still gotta book in de.. More tests coming soon.. So many books to study...

Going to have to leave home and return to camp in a few hrs time..Sigh.. This feelin really sux.. long time nvr book in sun nite le.. Need some gettin use to..

Morning had quite an enjoyable soccer session.. Alf was late.. So me, JK,KKK and WK played.. Scored relatively alot todae.. Me and KKK scored most of the goals.. But the most memorable goal i have is surely the one where i lob the goalkeeper.. Whoo.. Not often u see a keeper get lobbed over in a street soccer court ya..

After soccer, went for brunch.. Den went home to plan for the afternoon.. But we ended all stayin home instead.. And for me, i spend the whole afternoon on the com.. Watching Sky High and Chicken Little.. Wanna find ppl chat wth me also dun have.. Too little frens.. Sigh..

Haven been takin any driving lessons in 2 weeks le.. Sigh..

Still not use to stay in.. Who will be?? haha.. But this transition period is diff to get thru man.. If only i have a source of emotional support.. Can't get myself to feel happy bout much things.. Juz feelin too negative..Argh.. Need to get out of it...

Played a very short bball session wth JK in the morning.. After breakfast, went his place and the 2 of us were chionging Dynasty Warrior.. haha.. Chiong already i got home den prepare to go Tampines meet up wth JK, WK and DW le..

Me and JK arrived late.. haha.. as expected.. TYS and Alvin (Gan) were there as well.. But they both left soon after.. The 3 of us walked round TM and Century Square in search for a present for the exchange later.. Managed to played a game of World Combat as well.. Me and DW proceed to produce one of the best 2 men team result we've achieved.. Den after finally gettin our presents, we headed in DW's car and picked up Yvonne.. By then, Layee already decided not to join us totally le..

Arrived at Marina Bay, met up wth the rest, den we had dinner at Chong Pang..Started dinner like 7plus.. ended bout 9plus.. Den there was the present exchange.. Well, i actually drew WK's present.. A diary for 2006.. And the lucky guy who got my present was DW.. He got the cute polar bear i bought.. Haha.. XuanYu and gang was like sayin my polar bear only meant for girls.. But i disagree.. I mean who says guys can't get soft toys as present?? haha..
There were a clock and a pair of 'shoes' in the pile of present, which cause some discussion bout the superstitious meanin behind such gifts..

After that they say they gg to Suntec.. So, me,JK,DW and WK stayed and played some arcade first.. Cos we're taking the car.. Den after a disappointing session of World Combat, we finally proceeded to meet up wth the rest.. They changed location to Bishan J8.. So we hang out at the coffee bean for awhile.. Den bout 0130hrs we started to leave.. Shimin left wth SiewFong, XuanYu and Shuming.. Den the remaining 10 of us took some time to discuss the trip home in the 2 cars.. I probably reach home the earliest..If not me then JK bah i guess.. Haha..

Tmrl morning, or i shd say later this morning playin soccer... But the thing is i dun feel slpy.. I dun tink its because of the coffee, cos i noe coffee and tea has little effect on me.. Probably its because i'm stay in again.. So it makes me treasure weekend more again like last time..

Anyway, i enjoyed myself alot during the gathering.. Happy to see my da ge and er ge again.. And the rest of the ODACians whom i dun meet up wth often.. And i do tink the gift-exchange is rather 'cool'!! haha.. Hoping to meet up wth the ODACians more often..

Nxt weekend may well juz have another gatherin wth the class.. I mean that is if DM manage to get everyone to turn up.. Haha.. Another gift exchange perhaps?? lol..

Sadly, have to book in tmrl and its back to camp.. As a trainee.. Wth the PTs, IVs and all the tests coming..Doesn't really help does it.. Sian.. Sigh...

Soccer, Frisbee.. All the lessons, practical and theory.. The nights off and all... And of course, there was the live I/V infusion.. Quite an eventful week.. 2nd week le.. So everyone gettin closer as frens.. So nicknames starts to named for everyone.. And somehow, many of them like to relate me to Harry Potter.. Say i look like Potter.. Wad the hell man.. I mean i noe i dun look as mature as an 19 yr old shd.. But Potter is like how small lah... The last time i heard anyone say i look like Potter was last time is sch when i was wearin dark-specs.. but now i'm not.. So why Potter again??

Sun burn.. Sigh..

Sian lor.. Tmrl morning gotta book in to do duty le.. Sigh.. Never did guard duty in this camp be4.. Last 6 months i here, i always do Guard 3IC only.. Sian..
Then it'll be another week till Fri be4 i can bookout again.. Sian..

This afternoon was spent playin arcade wth DW.. A few misunderstandings resulted in us wasting alot of time in travellin to Parklane in DW's car.. Then called Fab down to meet us (Me, DW and WK).. Then we started a super long journey to SAFTI MI to attend the Officers' Commissioning Parade.. We 'holan' dunno how many times.. Keep exiting at the wrong place, or missing the exit.. Ended up that abit late..But along the way we say the COA (Chief of Army)'s car.. Haha.. so follow him all the way.. Den we waited at the entrance for TYS.. TYS den alighted at the wrong bus stop.. So by the time we go in, quite late le..

The parade already started.. Saw ZhengYang there as well.. He on duty though he not the batch commissioning.. The parade was rather well-done at first.. But later, there were a few cock-up here and there... So i wasn't really very impress.. Den the time came for frens and relatives to go down and congratulate the officers.. So we went down... Felt happy and proud for all my frens in the number1 uniform there.. Shook their hands.. Gave them a hug.. We also managed to take a pic wth KKK and DM.. Couldn't find WX though.. Sad to say.. Well guys, congrats to ur..

After the parade, we went back on DW's car, intending to have dinner at Jurong Point..End up carpark full.. So we drive here and there.. Ended up eating at AMK S11.. Haha.. After dinner come home le.. I'd love to stay out longer.. But the fact that i have guard duty tmrl keeps bugging me.. and i noe i need the rest.. This course, unlike any others before, places emphasis on PT as well..which is the thing bugging me the most.. Can't blame me rite.. i mean i've been inactive for like half a year le..

Lookin forward to the nxt weekend le.. The ODAC gatherin on Sat only proves to make the weekend more 'looked-forward to'.. Haha..

My first bookout for the Mod Medic Spec Course.. Hooray.. But then, Sun i got Guard Duty.. Sigh.. Meanin Sun burn le.. Sob..

Anyway, to summarise all i've been thru... Basically, so far the lessons i still can cope.. Be it theory or practical.. Thank goodness i did Bio at 'A' lvl, First Aid course at St John.. and i did stay in the camp as a TSS helpin out do alot of stuff in my almost half a year.. So more or less the stuff till now i noe at least abit.. But then physically ar, i TCMI le..In fact, now my arms are so sore, i cannot do much push ups anymore.. Luckily its the weekend and i can rest...

The course is really packed.. I mean it feels that they're tryin to teach alot of stuff in very short time.. I really wonder how the rest wth no Bio background are coping..

So there has been news bout an ODAC gatherin nxt Sat.. Looking forward to it of course.. BBQ or Marina Bay?? Gift-exchange?? Wonder how this gatherin will turn out....

Oh, there will be a one week hospital/ambulance attachment during the course for us.. Cool!!

But in camp can get so sian and lonely.. No hp allowed somemore during working hours.. But then again, not as if anyone's gg to sms me.. But its juz that my hp seems my only link to the outide world..

Anyway, tmrl is Officers' Commissioning parade.. Probably gg for the parade to see see.. 10 Dec is also my 1-year anniversary in NS.. Can't wait to ORD.. Sigh.. Den Sun is book in for me in the morning.. Sigh.. Sad sad..

The day has come....

Well, its here.. todae is my last day before my course starts.. Tmrl onwards, for 14 weeks, i'll become a trainee again.. Duffel bag seems very very heavy... Sigh..

Mornin played soccer.. Then in the afternoon went to play pool at the Labryinth (dunno how to spell lah).. Very ex place indeed.. Someday shd try out the boardgames corner in the other place near there.. Seem very nice to juz sit there wth a grp of frens and chat and play boardgames over some coffee and tea..

Got home, and started doing some last min addition to my duffel bag.. But seriously, i tink i'll rather enjoy arranging and placin all my belongings in my cupboard.. haha.. Already lookin forward to bookin out on fri.. Hoping to get plenty of nights off..

And so this is like my last post before my course starts.. Well, if u're readin this, juz take a little while, and pray for me ok? haha.. Gg to need all the luck and blessin i can get.. I may seem a little lucky, but more luck can't be bad rite? haha..

Luckily i still have music to keep me company thru the course.. The last time i was on course (BSLC), music was a great fren.. I mean, music had always played a very big role in my life.. And of course there were a few frens who were chattin wth me.. I have a feelin i'll be listenin to 杨丞琳's songs quite often.. haha.. of course there are jay's new songs..

It was great to be able to meet up wth the class ystdae.. and i'm hoping to be able to meet up wth the ODACians soon.. Long time no see everyone le.. Wonder how everyone doing..

Class Gathering...

The whole of morning till late afternoon was spent playin games at frens' hse..

Then went home to take a shower and change before headin to Punggol Park for the class gathering..

Went to this restaurant call 'Bliss' which is inside Punggol Park.. 12 guys turned up.. But only 2 girls came.. And they came late and left early.. Ha.. To tink DM push back the class gatherin till after the exams of the girls, tinking more of them will turn up..
Anyway, the food there's really not bad.. I had the Cheese Slipper Lobsters served wth butter rice.. (Later on i found out the so called 'slipper lobster' is actually crayfish).. And there is no service charge, GST or anything of that sort.. So rather worth it..

The atmosphere there's quite nice as well.. Wth the candles and all.. We had a table inside the air-conditioned place.. But there are more tables outside near the 'pond'.. And at night, with the candles, the ambience is really quite nice.. Very soothing to the eye.. Can say its romantic if u wan it to be.. haha.. But i juz like the atmosphere..

DM also treated the whole table to some wine.. One bottle of red wine, one bottle of white wine.. After dinner, we went to the nearby playground and started chatting.. Few of us even started playin some of the 'stations' there.. haha.. of course, i was involve.. lol.. well, many ppl do always say i like small kid.. Bought some drinks and snacks from 7-11 den we all chatted for quite some time.. Long time nvr see everyone le.. Really had a great time wth all of them lor.. Best CG not anyhow get wan lor.. Haha.. This class (or at least the guys) are really all great ppl..

Tmrl still got soccer in the morning.. And its my last day before course starts.. Sigh.. Wish me luck ok??

3rd driving lesson.. .

Spent the morning finish readin Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.. Sad ending indeed.. some surprises, but mostly expected.. After readin all 6 books, i made some interestin matching sub-consciously...

Firstly, i do tink JK and Ron Weasley are similar.. Both have the blur look on their faces more often than not.. And they are blur.. Haha..

Also, Fabian and Albus Dumbledore are similar as well.. Imagine Fab peerin over his spectacles and compare that to Dumbledore peerin over his half-moon spectacles.. Haha.. And they are both very good-tempered.. Always appearin so compose..

Hao Yi also remind me of Tom Riddle.. The teenage Lord Voldermort still studying at Hogwarts.. I'm not sayin HaoYi is evil.. Its juz that they are similar in many other ways.. Both intelligent and seldom talk much.. They are both man of few words.. Both are fearless of everyone and everything.. At least HaoYi gimme the impression that he is fearless, or does not show fear..

And another one will be Professor Flitwick and DM.. Well.. no need for me to explain much here.. lol..

I'll continue bout this nxt time.. Now bout driving..

Todae start only car 'die'.. But luckily that was also the last time it happened.. Disappointingly, i failed to break my record speed.. On the whole still ok.. 3hrs of driving so far in total.. I would say my performance so far is still ok bah.. i hope.. lol..

Happy day with a sad ending...

This morning went to Sentosa wth my wing ppl.. See got so many ppl den i realise that 'O' and 'A' levels finish liao..and its the hols.. no wonder so many ppl at Sentosa lah.. There was no sun.. It was cloudy and rained abit thru out the day.. But i like the weather that way..

Spent the whole day out there.. Only got home like 6plus in the evening.. Was feelin happy lor.. Den they e-mail me the stuff to bring for my course startin on Mon.. Den realise they need me to bring more than i've planned.. And they also require some stuff which i do not hav or hav not prepared.. I tot i was more or less done for my packing liao lor.. Den now lidat.. This is something which makes me very stress.. I dun like it when ppl come spoiling my plan.. And i was already feelin so sian bout the course le.. This is not helping me at all..

Harry Porter and the Goblet of Fire..

Ystdae was awarded half day off.. So get to leave camp bout 1200.. Den decided to join the class gers for Harry Porter and the Goblet of Fire.. So headed to PS.. Seriously, i prefer the previous Albus Dumbledore.. This new guy juz dun fit.. The movie was different from the story in the book.. The director did ok lah.. I tot the way he handled the Quidditch Cup Final was rather short and sweet.. Then there was the appearance of Cho Chang.. Ok, she is rather good-looking, but i tink she's bit on the plump side isn't it?? .. Oh but comparing the Draco Malfoy in Chamber of Secrets to this Malfoy, he sure change for the better, in terms of looks of course.. Hermione tried to impress during the ball, but i tink she looks more childish in her dress.. She looks more 'mature' when she wears her Muggle' clothings.. haha..

On the whole, its a 6.5/10 rating from me..

After the movie, went home change and jog off to meet JK and WK for an evenning jog.. Jog until i wanna die.. Really cannot make it... Den went for dinner wth JK at HP before heading home...

Alright, gotta go prepare liao.. Gg to Sentosa todae.. Haha.. But its drizzling out there.. Hopefully its not raining on the island there down south..

Thurs and Fri leave.. Hoping to enjoy myself as much as possible.. Before my course starts ya...

Hitching rides...

This weekend got alot of rides from DW and TYS's cars.. Ystdae evening den go out.. Went Parkway to play pool... After that 6 of us split into 3 in each car.. Headed to Katong for LAN gaming.. Me and JK were in DW's car.. Den when we reach, had to do parallel parking.. DW super stress wth the 2 of us givin instruction here and there.. haha.. but really damn funny.. me and jk were outside the car, tryin very diff to give instruction to DW.. In the end DW took quite a FEW tries to make it.. haha.. Not say he lousy lah.. We ourselves haven try it yet.. so better keep the comments to ourselves.. After that went for supper (roti prata).. Den they sent us home..

This morning early morning wake up still feel slpy.. Went to meet wth DW and TYS.. End up both of them drove here.. Haha.. Den we headed for MacRitchie Reservoir for the SIM-Malrose Charity Walk.. Not many ODACians turned up.. But not a bad day lah.. it was relaxing walk which we chatted all the way.. walk all the way except when we saw 2 girls joggin past us, we were tempted indeed to start joggin.. LOL...

After the Walk, we went to Bishan for lunch.. Now wth ZhengYang's car as well.. So total 3 cars on the road.. Cool leh.. Haha.. Went Cafe Cartel for lunch.. Went for the St Louis BBQ Sauce Ribs.. Eat until full.. haha.. And the 8 of us did finish the whole basket of bread.. LOL..

After that took DW's car home.. All full and slpy.. But late afternoon went for soccer.. play until shag.. haha..

Ok so this weekend's not bad indeed.. Very eventful.. Really can't wait till i get my licence.. Den i can try and borrow a car and drive out also.. It has always been our dream..To all drive our own car out together.. The rest had all set high aims on the cars they wan.. I also wanna drive a gd car lah, but to be realistic, my first aim of a motor vehicle is a scooter.. Den can drive to Uni... and to work..

But in order to hav any hope of passin my driving at all, i muz muz try to slow down.. I realise i'm quite a speedy car driver.. And i still wanna go faster.. Shit.. Got speed limit ar KL.. Better wake up ur idea.. Its juz that i dun feel that its fast.. Tts all..

On a sadder note.. Dec 5 is juz coming closer and closer..
