Its still raining..

Sigh.. Its book in day again.. But todae is much better than the last book in.. Last Sun nite i had to book in @1900hrs.. At least todae i get to book in @2230hrs.. Always look on the bright side of life they say..

This week i had been 'chosen' to be the I/C for the course.. Sigh..
Do help pray for me for my upcoming tests hor.. Gg to need plenty of blessings..I thank you for that...

Spent almost the whole day at DM's hse todae.. Playin XBox.. Kungfu Chaos is cute.. haha..

Fab was there at DM's hse also.. And on our way home, he was like saying smthing bout hanging a tag on himself... " Single and Available.. Date of expiry: XXXXXX (after which will turn gay)" .. Dun worry lah er ge, i'm sure u'll never expire de...

TYS was telling all of us bout the CNY activitites.. Visiting Mrs Ivy Lim and Mr Kwek.. Sounds cool to me.. haha... More ang bao.. lol..

Tempted to put more money into the internet thingy.. I already got my money plus the 'earnings' from my last investment back le.. Shd I???

Raining ~ The sky is falling..

Its raining out there now.. Again.. I dun even tink the rain stopped since last nite..

And so the weekend is coming to an end.. It was a essential break to me this weekend.. Last week had been a long week (Even though it started on tue).. It was the first time we did I/V (Intravenous Infusion) with a 16g cannula.. Everyone was feelin a little stress bout it.. For me and my buddy, we both managed to make it 'one shot one kill'.. So we only shot once... But due to the overwhelming miss rate, I had to allowed my arm to be shot 3 more times in the week.. And there was blood screening to be done, so we also learn how to draw blood.. and ended up drawing blood from each other instead.. Haha.. Many lessons, practical and theory.. Many tests coming up also.. Everyone feelin stressed.. I'm tryin hard to take it easy.. Its juz that i know, that if i fail to learn the skills properly, nxt time i'd be handling a person's life... Also had our AED course le.. Meaning we're all certified AED (automatic external defibrillator) users.. Cool.. I clear u clear everyone clear.. Giving shock...

Played soccer on Fri nite.. Abit pissed wth KKK i muz admit, for refusing to play for fear of dirtying his shoes.. WTH?? Anyway, the remaining 4 of us went on to play and had quite a nice time.. But all the while i had this feeling JK's not playing whole-heartedly..

Driving lesson on Sat.. First time in a month plus.. Started horribly with the car 'dying' so many times... Learn Direction Change.. The instructor praised me for my handling of the steering wheel and my control of the reverse..

Supposed to be playin soccer.. But the 'sky is fallin'.. Wasted..

Was juz reading thru some blogs (my com sputtered abit of life todae and i was able to open IE).. As this new year starts, ppl have different feelings to it.. JK's like a little depress to me.. Er Ge on the other hand was much more prepared to face the new year.. Probably the ORD date really does matter.. Me, i'm juz totally clueless how my last year in NS will be like.. I've been a 2nd year soldier since like 1 month ago.. But i'm still a trainee and will be one till March 17.. I'm juz gg to take it as it come.. And hopefully, i'll still be standing after each wave..

Bookin in early tonight cos they wan us to study.. WTH.. 1900hrs.. Sigh.. Wth 2 major tests coming up this week, its gg to be one hella big wave coming.. And include 2 I/V sessions and another Medic Obstacle Course to 'look forward to'.. Well, at least our allowance is coming and there's a break thanks to Haji Holiday.. Sigh..

Com's in unstable condition.. Pulse rapid and weak..tachycardia.. Breathing is shallow.. Skin is pale,cool, clammy.. I've already given oxygen ( i do hav an external fan).. Going into shock soon.. Argh....

Long weekend over..

Long weekend over le.. Tmrl morning gotta book in le.. Sad Sad...

Morning went KBox todae..Long time nvr go le.. Quite a big grp todae.. 8 ppl total.. 5 guys (me,tys,dw,kkk and wk) and 3 girls (Eve, yvonne amd SH).. And as usual, we over shot the K Lunch timing of 1400hrs.. Haha..

After the Kbox session, KKK and WK went home le.. Rest of us went to town to meet DM.. But DM was late... So while me and DW decided to chiong World Combat first.. And for the first time, we managed to complete the game using only 1 credit per person.. Though i was hanging on for my life as i ended the game wth only 1 health.. Stress..

Went window shopping at Orchard.. Me and TYS did buy a shirt each.. But that was all we got.. Rest of the day the 3 of us were juz walking in and outta shops.. See here see there.. Dinner at the Republic Foodcourt was hella ex.. Haha.. Left for home at bout 2100 bah..

Another day of high expenses.. But to tink of it.. Nowadays, i only spend on weekends.. So its really not that bad.. Oh.. was so tempted to buy books to read (Narnia or Eldest).. Lucky the queue was super long , so i din spend further.. Haha.. Anyway i'm probably borrowing Narnia from Layee.. So not a prob.. Haha..

Ok.. Better go get some slp.. Tmrl gotta wake up early..

Its New Year's Eve.. But i'm at home wth nothing to do.. -_-"

Ystdae hitch a ride on my fren's bike after booking out to Sengkang before taking a bus home.. On the way, decided to meet JK for dinner at HP.. After dinner, went his place play NFS Most Wanted.. At first we 2 and his bro play winner in loser out for awhile.. Den when his bro go slp, me and him play the career mode.. Only left his place like 1plus..

At first wanted to go out in the afternoon de.. But i fell aslp.. Now too late to go anywhere le.. Anyway also no one free.. Probably gg to end up juz gg to Alf's place to watch EPL and play some games todae..

Hmm.. i dun understand why so many ppl dun like The Chronicles of Narnia.. I do tink the movie is nice.. Which is the reason why, i'm planning to buy (or borrow) the books to read.. Supposedly, my fren told me the price of the whole set is like $90+.. Ouch.. That will burn one big hole in my wallet.. So i'm thinking of buying one by one.. More managable lidat.. Maybe one book per month..

As usual, 93.3FM is having the Top 100 songs countdown todae for the year 2005.. Its amazing how some songs i tot only came out like in the late months of 2005 made it so high in the charts.. I'll talk bout the countdown more when its over lah.. Now in Top 20 le... So many nice nice songs in a row.. Always like this kind of countdown.. Haha...

Nights off..

Juz a nights off tonight.. Meaning i gotta go back to camp later.. Sian..

Had lesson on Sports Medicine todae but a Physio.. Cool.. Learn alot of stuff i din noe.. And also corrected some stuff that i use to tink... Fruitful lesson..

After this few weeks in tis course, Learnt lots bout lotsa injuries and everything bout them.. Also saw alot of pics of all the different kind of injuries.. Its really very saddening to see all the pics of all the injured small children.. They are still so young.. So helpless.. But earthquakes and tsunami do not select casualties.. Very sad indeed.. Also, there are plenty of RTA (Road Traffic Accidents) pics.. As all of u noe, all the motorcyclists are very much vulnerable that car drivers.. And so, there are also lotsa pics of motorcyclists injured.. Some probably already dead.. Sigh.. Seeing all the pics is like constantly reminding me that its very dangerous to ride.. But i noe, i'm probably still gg to ride a bike after i ORD.. Also, it also reminds me daily, how dangerous it is to speed on the road, be it car or bike.. So i'm gg to try and slow down when i drive in the future.. Not gg to be easy..

Merry Christmas!!!

OMG!! Its like 5am now... And i juz came outta the shower.. Haha.. Had an enjoyable day todae..

Morning played bball wth JK,DW and Alvin (Lim).. Though the ring was abit too 'tight'.. Haha..
Had brunch @ HP as usual ($4).. Den i headed for a hair cut at the barber near my place ($9)..
Went home.. Slacked at the com all the way till its time to meet up wth some of my classmates.. Went to Suntec.. Waited in the queue for awhile but finally got our table in NYDC where we had dinner ($22.60).. Den we decided to catch a movie.. Chronicles of Narnia, the lion the witch and the wardrobe.. ( $9.50).. But it was only like 9plus when we finish dinner.. And the movie was at 2320.. So we went walking arnd abit.. Saw this Addidas shirt i like.. But there were no more stock of the size i wan.. Sian.. So ended up din buy anything.. Seriously need to shop for my CNY's clothes lor.. After that went to the arcade play abit ($3).. After that went in for the movie.. Shared the family combo wth JK ($4)..I tink its a rather nice movie.. Dunno why, JK,Alvin and Caleb din like it.. I tot the director did well in converting this story from the book into a movie.. And i do tink the storyline is great.. Very tempted to read the book.. Anyone got the book can lend me?? Haha..

After the movie, we started to walk.. Aimlessly at first.. Den we decided to head for Lau Pa Sat for supper.. Was a really long walk.. Took a break at a 7-11 along the way.. Got some drinks ($2).. Also took a toilet break for JK at a coffeeshop along the way.. Finally reach Lau Pa Sat already like 3plus le.. Had supper ($3).. After that we started hunting for cab home le.. But there was no available cab at all.. So we started walking.. Basically, i tink we covered all the roads in the area todae.. walked round in big circles.. Haha.. Splitted into 4 in each cab and headed home ($7)..

This totals up my expenses todae to about $65.. Whoa.. Stress.. Tts alot of money lor.. But i did had lotsa fun.. Its always great gg out wth all the guys.. Haha.. Anyway its xmas.. Spend abit more lor.. haha..

Well.. Guess i shd try and get some slp.. Though its already like 0530hrs.. If in camp i would have woken up and fall in like 10mins ago le..

Xmas wth coursemates...

After booking out todae, instead of gg home or go out wth the usual ppl, instead i headed to Jalan Kayu.. I was one of the four that took OC's car.. The rest either ride bike or take bus.. Our whole course plus instructors, went to Jalan Kayu for a dinner together..

Ate alot of stuff.. Kambing soup was nice.. The murtabak was great.. And who can forget the satays.. haha... Each one of us paid $3 den the rest of the bill settled by our Course Senior Instructor... Then after dinner was the gift exchange.. Very funny session... There were of course normal gifts like chocolates.. Then there was gifts like condoms.. pregnancy kit.. some durex special gel.. LOL.. Quite some fun...

After that hitch a ride on fren's bike to Sengkang to take a bus home..

Tmrl morning playing bball.. Hope the weather's good.. Then in the evening meeting up wth the class.. I seriously wonder how many will turn up.. But then again, its the quality, not the quantity that matters.. Haha..

Nights out..

Wonderin wad i'm doing online and blogging now on a Wed nite?? Haha.. Well, i got to stay out todae.. Thanx to the A & P test in the morning (which i scored 'relatively well'), while others got night off, a few of us got to stay out, and report back to camp the nxt day in the morning.. Haha..

Oh, and i juz completed my Basic Cardiac Life Support on Mon.. So level up le.. haha.. No more Heartsavers.. I/V todae for me was fine, one shot one hit..But due to the rain, booked out abit late..

Met up wth WK at HouMall, to get my present for gift-exchange for my course(camp) mates.. In the shop some embarrasing things happened.. Shan't explain.. Anyway, got the present, and then played a little pool, before we headed for HP to have supper wth JK..

Life as a trainee again hasn't been easy.. But i'm still hanging on.. I'm still surviving wth a smile on my face.. Ok.. Better go and slp le.. Tmrl still gotta book in de.. More tests coming soon.. So many books to study...

Bookin In.... Sigh...

Going to have to leave home and return to camp in a few hrs time..Sigh.. This feelin really sux.. long time nvr book in sun nite le.. Need some gettin use to..

Morning had quite an enjoyable soccer session.. Alf was late.. So me, JK,KKK and WK played.. Scored relatively alot todae.. Me and KKK scored most of the goals.. But the most memorable goal i have is surely the one where i lob the goalkeeper.. Whoo.. Not often u see a keeper get lobbed over in a street soccer court ya..

After soccer, went for brunch.. Den went home to plan for the afternoon.. But we ended all stayin home instead.. And for me, i spend the whole afternoon on the com.. Watching Sky High and Chicken Little.. Wanna find ppl chat wth me also dun have.. Too little frens.. Sigh..

Haven been takin any driving lessons in 2 weeks le.. Sigh..

Still not use to stay in.. Who will be?? haha.. But this transition period is diff to get thru man.. If only i have a source of emotional support.. Can't get myself to feel happy bout much things.. Juz feelin too negative..Argh.. Need to get out of it...

ODAC !!

Played a very short bball session wth JK in the morning.. After breakfast, went his place and the 2 of us were chionging Dynasty Warrior.. haha.. Chiong already i got home den prepare to go Tampines meet up wth JK, WK and DW le..

Me and JK arrived late.. haha.. as expected.. TYS and Alvin (Gan) were there as well.. But they both left soon after.. The 3 of us walked round TM and Century Square in search for a present for the exchange later.. Managed to played a game of World Combat as well.. Me and DW proceed to produce one of the best 2 men team result we've achieved.. Den after finally gettin our presents, we headed in DW's car and picked up Yvonne.. By then, Layee already decided not to join us totally le..

Arrived at Marina Bay, met up wth the rest, den we had dinner at Chong Pang..Started dinner like 7plus.. ended bout 9plus.. Den there was the present exchange.. Well, i actually drew WK's present.. A diary for 2006.. And the lucky guy who got my present was DW.. He got the cute polar bear i bought.. Haha.. XuanYu and gang was like sayin my polar bear only meant for girls.. But i disagree.. I mean who says guys can't get soft toys as present?? haha..
There were a clock and a pair of 'shoes' in the pile of present, which cause some discussion bout the superstitious meanin behind such gifts..

After that they say they gg to Suntec.. So, me,JK,DW and WK stayed and played some arcade first.. Cos we're taking the car.. Den after a disappointing session of World Combat, we finally proceeded to meet up wth the rest.. They changed location to Bishan J8.. So we hang out at the coffee bean for awhile.. Den bout 0130hrs we started to leave.. Shimin left wth SiewFong, XuanYu and Shuming.. Den the remaining 10 of us took some time to discuss the trip home in the 2 cars.. I probably reach home the earliest..If not me then JK bah i guess.. Haha..

Tmrl morning, or i shd say later this morning playin soccer... But the thing is i dun feel slpy.. I dun tink its because of the coffee, cos i noe coffee and tea has little effect on me.. Probably its because i'm stay in again.. So it makes me treasure weekend more again like last time..

Anyway, i enjoyed myself alot during the gathering.. Happy to see my da ge and er ge again.. And the rest of the ODACians whom i dun meet up wth often.. And i do tink the gift-exchange is rather 'cool'!! haha.. Hoping to meet up wth the ODACians more often..

Nxt weekend may well juz have another gatherin wth the class.. I mean that is if DM manage to get everyone to turn up.. Haha.. Another gift exchange perhaps?? lol..

Sadly, have to book in tmrl and its back to camp.. As a trainee.. Wth the PTs, IVs and all the tests coming..Doesn't really help does it.. Sian.. Sigh...

IV.. Harry Potter??

Soccer, Frisbee.. All the lessons, practical and theory.. The nights off and all... And of course, there was the live I/V infusion.. Quite an eventful week.. 2nd week le.. So everyone gettin closer as frens.. So nicknames starts to named for everyone.. And somehow, many of them like to relate me to Harry Potter.. Say i look like Potter.. Wad the hell man.. I mean i noe i dun look as mature as an 19 yr old shd.. But Potter is like how small lah... The last time i heard anyone say i look like Potter was last time is sch when i was wearin dark-specs.. but now i'm not.. So why Potter again??

Sun burn.. Sigh..

Sian lor.. Tmrl morning gotta book in to do duty le.. Sigh.. Never did guard duty in this camp be4.. Last 6 months i here, i always do Guard 3IC only.. Sian..
Then it'll be another week till Fri be4 i can bookout again.. Sian..

This afternoon was spent playin arcade wth DW.. A few misunderstandings resulted in us wasting alot of time in travellin to Parklane in DW's car.. Then called Fab down to meet us (Me, DW and WK).. Then we started a super long journey to SAFTI MI to attend the Officers' Commissioning Parade.. We 'holan' dunno how many times.. Keep exiting at the wrong place, or missing the exit.. Ended up that abit late..But along the way we say the COA (Chief of Army)'s car.. Haha.. so follow him all the way.. Den we waited at the entrance for TYS.. TYS den alighted at the wrong bus stop.. So by the time we go in, quite late le..

The parade already started.. Saw ZhengYang there as well.. He on duty though he not the batch commissioning.. The parade was rather well-done at first.. But later, there were a few cock-up here and there... So i wasn't really very impress.. Den the time came for frens and relatives to go down and congratulate the officers.. So we went down... Felt happy and proud for all my frens in the number1 uniform there.. Shook their hands.. Gave them a hug.. We also managed to take a pic wth KKK and DM.. Couldn't find WX though.. Sad to say.. Well guys, congrats to ur..

After the parade, we went back on DW's car, intending to have dinner at Jurong Point..End up carpark full.. So we drive here and there.. Ended up eating at AMK S11.. Haha.. After dinner come home le.. I'd love to stay out longer.. But the fact that i have guard duty tmrl keeps bugging me.. and i noe i need the rest.. This course, unlike any others before, places emphasis on PT as well..which is the thing bugging me the most.. Can't blame me rite.. i mean i've been inactive for like half a year le..

Lookin forward to the nxt weekend le.. The ODAC gatherin on Sat only proves to make the weekend more 'looked-forward to'.. Haha..

Ok lah.. i tink i shd go and slp le.. Tmrl still gotta wake up rather early in the morning.. And there is still a week of studying and lessons to take.. So cya guys.. Do msg me often ya..

My first bookout for the Mod Medic Spec Course.. Hooray.. But then, Sun i got Guard Duty.. Sigh.. Meanin Sun burn le.. Sob..

Anyway, to summarise all i've been thru... Basically, so far the lessons i still can cope.. Be it theory or practical.. Thank goodness i did Bio at 'A' lvl, First Aid course at St John.. and i did stay in the camp as a TSS helpin out do alot of stuff in my almost half a year.. So more or less the stuff till now i noe at least abit.. But then physically ar, i TCMI le..In fact, now my arms are so sore, i cannot do much push ups anymore.. Luckily its the weekend and i can rest...

The course is really packed.. I mean it feels that they're tryin to teach alot of stuff in very short time.. I really wonder how the rest wth no Bio background are coping..

So there has been news bout an ODAC gatherin nxt Sat.. Looking forward to it of course.. BBQ or Marina Bay?? Gift-exchange?? Wonder how this gatherin will turn out....

Oh, there will be a one week hospital/ambulance attachment during the course for us.. Cool!!

But in camp can get so sian and lonely.. No hp allowed somemore during working hours.. But then again, not as if anyone's gg to sms me.. But its juz that my hp seems my only link to the outide world..

Anyway, tmrl is Officers' Commissioning parade.. Probably gg for the parade to see see.. 10 Dec is also my 1-year anniversary in NS.. Can't wait to ORD.. Sigh.. Den Sun is book in for me in the morning.. Sigh.. Sad sad..

The day has come....

Well, its here.. todae is my last day before my course starts.. Tmrl onwards, for 14 weeks, i'll become a trainee again.. Duffel bag seems very very heavy... Sigh..

Mornin played soccer.. Then in the afternoon went to play pool at the Labryinth (dunno how to spell lah).. Very ex place indeed.. Someday shd try out the boardgames corner in the other place near there.. Seem very nice to juz sit there wth a grp of frens and chat and play boardgames over some coffee and tea..

Got home, and started doing some last min addition to my duffel bag.. But seriously, i tink i'll rather enjoy arranging and placin all my belongings in my cupboard.. haha.. Already lookin forward to bookin out on fri.. Hoping to get plenty of nights off..

And so this is like my last post before my course starts.. Well, if u're readin this, juz take a little while, and pray for me ok? haha.. Gg to need all the luck and blessin i can get.. I may seem a little lucky, but more luck can't be bad rite? haha..

Luckily i still have music to keep me company thru the course.. The last time i was on course (BSLC), music was a great fren.. I mean, music had always played a very big role in my life.. And of course there were a few frens who were chattin wth me.. I have a feelin i'll be listenin to 杨丞琳's songs quite often.. haha.. of course there are jay's new songs..

It was great to be able to meet up wth the class ystdae.. and i'm hoping to be able to meet up wth the ODACians soon.. Long time no see everyone le.. Wonder how everyone doing..

Class Gathering...

The whole of morning till late afternoon was spent playin games at frens' hse..

Then went home to take a shower and change before headin to Punggol Park for the class gathering..

Went to this restaurant call 'Bliss' which is inside Punggol Park.. 12 guys turned up.. But only 2 girls came.. And they came late and left early.. Ha.. To tink DM push back the class gatherin till after the exams of the girls, tinking more of them will turn up..
Anyway, the food there's really not bad.. I had the Cheese Slipper Lobsters served wth butter rice.. (Later on i found out the so called 'slipper lobster' is actually crayfish).. And there is no service charge, GST or anything of that sort.. So rather worth it..

The atmosphere there's quite nice as well.. Wth the candles and all.. We had a table inside the air-conditioned place.. But there are more tables outside near the 'pond'.. And at night, with the candles, the ambience is really quite nice.. Very soothing to the eye.. Can say its romantic if u wan it to be.. haha.. But i juz like the atmosphere..

DM also treated the whole table to some wine.. One bottle of red wine, one bottle of white wine.. After dinner, we went to the nearby playground and started chatting.. Few of us even started playin some of the 'stations' there.. haha.. of course, i was involve.. lol.. well, many ppl do always say i like small kid.. Bought some drinks and snacks from 7-11 den we all chatted for quite some time.. Long time nvr see everyone le.. Really had a great time wth all of them lor.. Best CG not anyhow get wan lor.. Haha.. This class (or at least the guys) are really all great ppl..

Tmrl still got soccer in the morning.. And its my last day before course starts.. Sigh.. Wish me luck ok??

3rd driving lesson.. .

Spent the morning finish readin Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.. Sad ending indeed.. some surprises, but mostly expected.. After readin all 6 books, i made some interestin matching sub-consciously...

Firstly, i do tink JK and Ron Weasley are similar.. Both have the blur look on their faces more often than not.. And they are blur.. Haha..

Also, Fabian and Albus Dumbledore are similar as well.. Imagine Fab peerin over his spectacles and compare that to Dumbledore peerin over his half-moon spectacles.. Haha.. And they are both very good-tempered.. Always appearin so compose..

Hao Yi also remind me of Tom Riddle.. The teenage Lord Voldermort still studying at Hogwarts.. I'm not sayin HaoYi is evil.. Its juz that they are similar in many other ways.. Both intelligent and seldom talk much.. They are both man of few words.. Both are fearless of everyone and everything.. At least HaoYi gimme the impression that he is fearless, or does not show fear..

And another one will be Professor Flitwick and DM.. Well.. no need for me to explain much here.. lol..

Todae start only car 'die'.. But luckily that was also the last time it happened.. Disappointingly, i failed to break my record speed.. On the whole still ok.. 3hrs of driving so far in total.. I would say my performance so far is still ok bah.. i hope.. lol..

Happy day with a sad ending...

This morning went to Sentosa wth my wing ppl.. See got so many ppl den i realise that 'O' and 'A' levels finish liao..and its the hols.. no wonder so many ppl at Sentosa lah.. There was no sun.. It was cloudy and rained abit thru out the day.. But i like the weather that way..

Spent the whole day out there.. Only got home like 6plus in the evening.. Was feelin happy lor.. Den they e-mail me the stuff to bring for my course startin on Mon.. Den realise they need me to bring more than i've planned.. And they also require some stuff which i do not hav or hav not prepared.. I tot i was more or less done for my packing liao lor.. Den now lidat.. This is something which makes me very stress.. I dun like it when ppl come spoiling my plan.. And i was already feelin so sian bout the course le.. This is not helping me at all..

Harry Porter and the Goblet of Fire..

Ystdae was awarded half day off.. So get to leave camp bout 1200.. Den decided to join the class gers for Harry Porter and the Goblet of Fire.. So headed to PS.. Seriously, i prefer the previous Albus Dumbledore.. This new guy juz dun fit.. The movie was different from the story in the book.. The director did ok lah.. I tot the way he handled the Quidditch Cup Final was rather short and sweet.. Then there was the appearance of Cho Chang.. Ok, she is rather good-looking, but i tink she's bit on the plump side isn't it?? .. Oh but comparing the Draco Malfoy in Chamber of Secrets to this Malfoy, he sure change for the better, in terms of looks of course.. Hermione tried to impress during the ball, but i tink she looks more childish in her dress.. She looks more 'mature' when she wears her Muggle' clothings.. haha..

On the whole, its a 6.5/10 rating from me..

After the movie, went home change and jog off to meet JK and WK for an evenning jog.. Jog until i wanna die.. Really cannot make it... Den went for dinner wth JK at HP before heading home...

Alright, gotta go prepare liao.. Gg to Sentosa todae.. Haha.. But its drizzling out there.. Hopefully its not raining on the island there down south..

Thurs and Fri leave.. Hoping to enjoy myself as much as possible.. Before my course starts ya...

Hitching rides...

This weekend got alot of rides from DW and TYS's cars.. Ystdae evening den go out.. Went Parkway to play pool... After that 6 of us split into 3 in each car.. Headed to Katong for LAN gaming.. Me and JK were in DW's car.. Den when we reach, had to do parallel parking.. DW super stress wth the 2 of us givin instruction here and there.. haha.. but really damn funny.. me and jk were outside the car, tryin very diff to give instruction to DW.. In the end DW took quite a FEW tries to make it.. haha.. Not say he lousy lah.. We ourselves haven try it yet.. so better keep the comments to ourselves.. After that went for supper (roti prata).. Den they sent us home..

This morning early morning wake up still feel slpy.. Went to meet wth DW and TYS.. End up both of them drove here.. Haha.. Den we headed for MacRitchie Reservoir for the SIM-Malrose Charity Walk.. Not many ODACians turned up.. But not a bad day lah.. it was relaxing walk which we chatted all the way.. walk all the way except when we saw 2 girls joggin past us, we were tempted indeed to start joggin.. LOL...

After the Walk, we went to Bishan for lunch.. Now wth ZhengYang's car as well.. So total 3 cars on the road.. Cool leh.. Haha.. Went Cafe Cartel for lunch.. Went for the St Louis BBQ Sauce Ribs.. Eat until full.. haha.. And the 8 of us did finish the whole basket of bread.. LOL..

After that took DW's car home.. All full and slpy.. But late afternoon went for soccer.. play until shag.. haha..

Ok so this weekend's not bad indeed.. Very eventful.. Really can't wait till i get my licence.. Den i can try and borrow a car and drive out also.. It has always been our dream..To all drive our own car out together.. The rest had all set high aims on the cars they wan.. I also wanna drive a gd car lah, but to be realistic, my first aim of a motor vehicle is a scooter.. Den can drive to Uni... and to work..

But in order to hav any hope of passin my driving at all, i muz muz try to slow down.. I realise i'm quite a speedy car driver.. And i still wanna go faster.. Shit.. Got speed limit ar KL.. Better wake up ur idea.. Its juz that i dun feel that its fast.. Tts all..

On a sadder note.. Dec 5 is juz coming closer and closer..

Second driving lesson...

Juz got back from my sceond driving lesson.. ok lah.. But i had a feelin i did better in the first lesson.. The last time the car 'died' was because i release the clutch too early.. But todae its because i din depress the clutch when its gg to stop.. damn.. I'm stupid.. Anyway, i made a conscious effort to glance at the mirrors more often todae..

Other than the fact the car 'died' only once i believe (compared to 3 times or was it 2 last session), the only other improvement, was the fact that i broke my top speed record.. lol.. It was like 85km/h i tell u.. on a normal road.. haha... I juz wanna go faster..

End of year coming.. Everyone happy.. Exams ending.. Holidays coming.. Clearin leave.. But for me, it only means my course gg to start.. Sigh.. Coincidentally, i tink i'm gg to pass out on KKK's bdae.. And he's gg to pass out on my NS 1 Year Anniversary..

But the fact is i've stayed out for like almost 4 months or even more.. Askin me to stay in again.. And become a trainee.. Oh man.. I dunno... Well, at least driving's been OK so far..

Haven got the chance to listen to songs much recently, so no songs to recommend.. If ur have any nice songs muz tell me hor... Radio on but i'm either busy reading, playin or day-dreaming.. Ha..

Juz for thought.. How long has it been since u last drop a tear? Its been like 7 years since i last cried.. Its suppose to be better if u let tears flow more freely rite?? To let the emotions out.. Isn't it?? Dunno why this tot came into my mind...

First driving lesson...

Juz came back from my first driving lesson.. It was not bad lah.. But somehow i had the feelin i din really use much of the rear view mirror and the side mirrors.. Seems that the view in the front screen was more than enuf to occupy me and allow me to drive.. Not a very gd thing rite? i mean i tot the rear view and side view mirrors shd be used very often? haha.. But the instructor said i was rather ok for a first timer... the car 'died' less than 3 times lah... But i did drove home frm Ubi.. haha

Tmrl gotta go back to camp.. Wed and Thurs on leave again.. Nxt driving lesson is thurs
afternoon 1500hrs...

This morning finished readin Harry Porter and the Goblet of fire.. Not bad.. But i really tot Harry was gg to get Cho as his date lor.. Or at least Hermione.. But all the same, i still tink Harry's a lucky guy.. A very very lucky guy.. Envious? Of a fictional character?? Nah...

Will be clearing leave soon liao.. Tmrl, nxt Mon,Wed and Thurs all on leave.. Cos Dec 5 my course start liao.. Sigh.. Means no more stay out.. Feelin abit sad... Sigh...

Well, contacted a instructor liao.. Practical driving gg to start nxt week.. Tmrl FTT... Stress...

Feel abit as though my leaves are wasted.. Cos i probably got nothing to do on all those days.. So anyone free on any of those days ask me out.. Tryin to make those days more 'used'..

Driving starting, course to prepare for.. expenses gg to go up.. Stayin in liao.. FTT how? Prac driving can make it?? Argh... SO many things to juggle.. I need a break.. Why all the things so 'zun' come at same time...

Duty.. Sian..

Well.. Tmrl i hav guard duty (as guard 3IC).. Meaning i wun be home.. Sigh.. Seems that i stay out too long liao.. Now stay one nite i also dun feel gd.. Lidat nxt month go course how siah?? Walk one step see one step lor..

Once in a while, instead of running wth another fren, run alone also not bad.. Realise that when i put the music in my ears, and either concentrate on running or to the music, it helps... Thats the time when all my troubles seem to disappear..

I like to travel.. As in everyday, when i go to camp or go home, i juz put my earphones on.. and i juz day dream.. haha.. Will rather no one bother me.. I'll prefer to be left alone on a bus/MRT ride unless its a close fren, which i sadly have none in my camp..

My Mdm really very nice person siah.. Find out my FTT this fri, she lend me all her notes and book from her lessons few months back.. Abit stress bout the test...

Nvrm, tmrl duty means not gg to have much time to slp, so i was thinking, might as well use the little time to study for my FTT, or read the Harry Porter books i borrowed from Evelyn.. Lucky she lend me 2.. If not sure not enuf.. Haha.. JK Rowling sure was a popular name among my class back in JC.. Haha.. Juz realise there its 'Rowling', not ' Rowlings'.. So how did JKRS came about.. haha..

Wallet feelin a lil empty...

Wah.. this mornin's soccer session was hot weather again.. The team was about the same as ystdae.. Juz that JK replaced WK.. and we din hav KKK.. But the session was quite enjoyable lah.. Din win much.. But we did ok... Considering the fatigue in us..

After lunch, we all went home first... Poor JK gotta book in @ 1700.. So he couldn't join us for afternoon plans.. And so me, Alvin (Gan) and TYS went to City Hall.. We went there walk here walk there.. Den went to Suntec.. Den as usual, we walked round the fountain to see where we wanna eat.. After bout 1.5 rounds, we decided to walk into this place call " Surf And Turf" ..

Both of them had steaks (which seems like medium raw rather than medium rare to me) and crayfish.. While i went for Grilled Chicken and Crayfish... A filling meal indeed.. In fact, we din really finish our meals...

After that we go walk walk arnd.. Mostly went into the sports shops.. But we din buy anything..

Spent the whole afternoon playin Maple Story.. Ok.. I'm a noob.. But still surviving ok...
Evening came and I had to settle dinner myself.. Juz when i tot i'm gg to eat by myself out there, Alvin (Lim) and Caleb came online..

Ha.. So of course i jio them go eat dinner wth me.. Luckily, they both agreed.. And so, my dinner wasn't alone..

After a 'filled wth jokes and laughter' dinner, we went for a short pool session.. Really very 'funny', how no matter how hard alvin tries, he juz can't win... Haha.. Luck wasn't on his side.. But if u go ask tys or wk ar, they'll tell u, play pool wth me ar, only i'll have gd luck.. haha...

Anyway thanx to these 2 guys who made my otherwise boring day more happening..

Oh, bought yet another new book to read.. "Blink".. seems interesting... Still tryin to look for Jay's new album.. Seems like its really selling like hotcakes...

Tmrl looks set to be another 'uneventful' day as i juz decline to join TYS,WK and JK at omni-theatre... Travel all the way there, and pay $10+ to watch something i'm not interested in.. Nah.. Ur enjoy bah...

This month really seems like i spent alot of money already.. But i juz can't tink where all the money go to... The bills haven even come in yet... The only route i can tink of that the missing money had taken, is into my stomach... Lol...

Den juz as i about to press end test, the guy beside me the screen showed in big letters: FAIL.. Wah.. This cause me to hesitate for a few seconds den press end test..
Anyway, i was in time to book for FTT... The counter close at 2030hrs.. My test at 2000hrs.. Lucky me...

Started playing this online game called Maple Story.. I noe abit slow.. Haha.. Thanx to Evelyn and her Bro, i finally got it working.. Haha..

As i eat my supper, i can almost feel myself becoming fatter... Slowly, i'm becoming big,fat and ugly.. Not that i was small, thin and handsome in the first place.. Its not a transformation from gd to bad.. Its from bad to worse... Argh.........

Wad a hot day..

Morning made an exception and went for soccer with the rest.. it wasn't exactly a bad session.. not real bad.. u noe wad i mean...

Den at first wanted to go out in the afternoon.. So met online to discuss.. Took quite awhile fro everyone to come online and discuss.. But due to many conflicting preferances and ideas.. There was no conclusion.. And the 'high and mighty one' juz say.. since cannot decide den all stay home.. -_-.. To tink i tot we were on the verge of confirming gg to TYS hse liao.. Ha.. Looks like its maggi for dinner.. not that i minded stayin home..

I mean c'mon lah.. WK only juz came into discussion lor.. and we were juz tellin him our plans.. and discussing it wth him.. And both me and TYS already not much money left for the month liao lor.. still wanna play pool.. TYS already say he left wth $10+ liao lor.. Go his hse of course will be better for him rite..Some ppl juz can't think for others at all..

Thats juz me complaining.. Like WK says, i'm always complaining.. Ha.. dun be bothered..

Since they're all stayin home, dinner looks set to be Maggi KL style..

As i'm typin now, outside is raining like crazy.. Lightning flashes are lighting up the whole night scene.. and the thunder is louder than many many gunshots combined.. To think i was out there juz now.. its like flooding all over the place...

Met up wth Layee to get the Basic Theory Book and the 'TYS' from her.. Den eat dinner there also.. Den end up rain like siao.. Sway... anyway, thanx for the books.. i'll return once my test over k?? as if u'll need them again.. haha

With the books plus my own book in the bag, i decided against using my bag as a 'cover' .. So end up got home kinda drenched.. now shower le.. feel so comfortable.. haha

Hmm.. Muz be JK's fault.. Got me all interested in this overseas scholarship thingy.. I actually applied for the account.. They gg to mail me the account details... Seriously, i noe i stand like 0% chance.. But then again, i have nothing to lose rite?? So why not... I mean if i do get it.. *Dream Dream*...

Juz got news tt i got guard duty on the 23rd NOV.. sian.. Guard 3IC again.. Lucky its a weekday..

Weekend's coming to an end... Quite a weekend..

JK came back and told us about his experience in Brunei.. Not exactly the best place to go for a holiday huh...
Chatted wth him till quite late on Fri.. In fact we chatted till mornin of Sat.. Seems like he's interested in gg overseas for further education.. I'll quote Mr Bernard Tan in my respond to him " Why not?? " Juz give it a shot.. If u can, den isn't it gd? At the most if u can't make it, u juz stick wth NUS.. Nothing to lose.. All the best to you...
Told him bout some of my prob.. It always gd to be able to talk to someone bout probs.. i hope..

Bball this morning was nice.. except for the fact that caleb din turn up... Again have to quote TYS "Sometimes being hardworking is not enuf.. Luck plays an impt role" .. I played so hard, but still lost 21-20..

First of all, happy bdae to one of my best fren for 9yrs and running, alvin.. 19 yrs old already huh..

Well, on off todae, so went out whole day. Morning went to meet KKK at HouMall played arcade. Den we met up wth WK and the 2 Alvins for more arcade and the movie " Goal!" Nice show..
After tt went Alvin's place play game.

I kinda hate myself, hate my life. Is it because of army? I dunno. Why is life so unfair? Why am I born poor, born stupid, born ugly, born with no talents? Does that means in my past life i did many wrong things? Or does it mean I'm suffering this lifetime so i can have a good next life? Sigh... Feel like I'm leading a life controlled by everyone and everything but myself. When can i ever choose my own path?

Fri after the trip to Simlim, i went home only to take a shower and go out again.. Met TYS,DM and Alvin for dinner.. Den we went 'shopping' abit.. After tt i went alvin's hse chiong game till like 0530 (Sat).. went to slp.. den woke up at like 0830 to get home by 0900.. Took a shower and i'm out again.. Met wth KKK, DM, DH, TYS and alvin lim for breakfast...

After breakfast, went home, shower, and i'm out again..To DM's hse play "Kingdom Under Fire".. Stupid KKK pang sei me..
After tt went to meet up wth the same grp of ppl in town go play arcade...Den go walk walk.. Den at first say wanna go chomp chomp for dinner.. end up go the Cartel at Serangoon Garden.. Joined by Fab and WK there... And after dinner it was home, shower and out again.. Watch EPL..

Hooray...

Went for my last specialist appointment todae.. And horray.. the specialist finally said the words i've waited for so long... " Your heart should be fine"... Woow... Great sigh of relief.. i almost wanted to shake his hands and all i can say was thank you.. thank you...

I can finally put away all the worries i had.. I juz feel my whole body feel lighter after that... It has been quite a scare.. But like the specialist said, u did fine on the treadmill (echocardio stress test) .. Well.. i won't exactly wanna appear weak and tired during the test.. Not when the medic attending to me looked so cute!!! lol... Well she is cute ok...

The happy me is back.. and bouncing wth life... Woooooow!!!!

Anyway, after the short 'chat' wth the doc, which i waited like 2hrs for my turn, i rush to meet DongHai at Simlim.. sorry lah Dong.. so late.. Wanted to buy a mp3 player.. after some consideration, i decided on the ipod nano.. But guess wad, all the stores in simlim out of stock..

So i'm probably gg to order one online.. its cheaper also.. and i can engrave something on the back of the nano.. cool!!

Oh.. But being cleared also means i've to go for course in Dec.. but actually its so slack.. so why not? stay in not so bad wad..
Save money on transport and meals. Anyway, i stay out now, everyday reach home already 7pm..Den also nothing much to do.. Almost everyone else stay in, where got ppl go out wth...
Come home also go online and see no one online chat wth.. Except a few persons.. sometimes only one person.. So stayin in may not be tt bad mah.. (tryin very hard to convince myself)

Casualty play....

Well.. Back from casualty acting... Went outfield where there was NSmen training gg on.. Real large scale... Then i was wth the MedCoy...

Basically i'm like the main casualty.. When the big shot came to watch the whole 'play', i was already 'prepared' and lying in the ambulance.. So the ambulance juz roared into life and sent me to the tentage.. And there was a big hoo-har as i was being taken down the ambulance into the tent... My supposed injuries: Injured in blast explosion.. Suffered 2nd degree burn on left arm.. Had large lacerations on right chest and top of head... And i was put on drip of course...
The whole thing was finished bout 4 plus..

Den my instructors was kind enuf to drove me to Kranji Camp where we all took a shower be4 they drop me off at Yew Tee MRT as they head back to training.. How nice...

Fri specialist appt will determine whether i gg for course coming Dec...

Heard the coming course is 14 weeks.. i'll become a spec after the course and attain paramedic level 2.. and everyone seems determine to push me be a trainer den come back to where i am...

I have mixed feelings bout all these...

The Medical Officer gave me 2 options: either u stay in sick bay here i put u on drip, or u go back to work wth ' light duties' status... obvious which one i chose...

Well.. one of my best inspiration for a song came..its one of the best cos its about myself... BUT.. i'm deciding to stop thinkin bout song-writing.. and i'm of course gg to stop writing.. and all my past few works are more or less gotten rid of.. i'm making myself a little promise.. tt all the song writing will wait till either i can compose songs or i find someone to compose..

This weekend look set to be another boring weekend... WK got duty todae so he's only bookin out tmrl and he gotta book in sun nite.. Poor KKK not booking out at all, he sure can do with a little encouragement (not from me of course)... And JK is probably at the airport now.. flying to brunei soon... Guess i'll be very much on my own.. sigh.. tink i'm slowly gettin use to leadin this kind of 'solo' lifestyle..

Well.. Seems tt my 'great talking ability' was in use again as i actually managed to persuade the most regimental warrant (my WSM) to allow me to go on half day off at last min notice.. haha.. and it certainly helps tt i gained his trust enough..

So i'm home by 1330hrs.. Gg my grandma's place wth my brother for dinner.. its been a long time since i visited them.. and since my brother is off from work as well, guess i shd juz drop by..

Well.. song writing ain't easy.. and i tink i sux.. perhaps i shd stop thinkin bout it.. furthermore i need someone to compose music first... argh...

why is this world so 'evil'? backstabbing.. cunning plots.. i'm tired of all these.. who can i trust? wad can i trust?

A little accident..

A little accident on my way home.. The bus skidded on the slippery road after failing to brake at the traffic light.. It hit the side of the road.. The impact was quite big.. Many ppl were thrown off their seats... The 2 most seriously injured was this old indian lady who totally fell off her seat onto the floor.. tink she injured her leg.. but no open wounds.. the other was this old man who also got thrown off his seat completely.. He suffered cuts to his hand and knee.. Seems like quite a deep cut.. he was bleeding profusely and the blood was like drippin onto the floor..

Many kind ppl passed him tissues.. Then the driver called the ambulance.. The rest of the ppl were quite shaken.. i wanted to like get the first aid kit from the front and give tt guy a little bandage.. but from the way he can still shout vulgarities at the driver, i assume he's fine and doesn't need my help..

there was this small boy on board as well.. but luckily his mum was carryin him when the accident happen.. .phew..

Tennis? Me?

Well.. somehow, jk managed to convince me to go for tennis this mornin..

So i took a ride in tys's car to the tennis court in YCK...

It was an ok session lah.. considerin i'm a first-timer, i did manged to hit some balls.. BUT..
i still dun tink its worth it.. i mean its $10 per hour.. and i'm probably real lousy.. the game probably din last more than 3 strokes be4 breakin the momentum..

Probably gg to stop here for tennis.. tried be4 liao.. so... haha

Dunno why i bothered to come here to blog in the first place.. My fever is back and its gotten worse.. I'm feelin so weak i can't stand properly..

Tmrl probably gg to run again wth WK this time.. Hopin to keep up this exercise regime.. Can help me regain my fitness and get rid of all the fats.. I'm gettin so fat...

Oh, while in camp todae, i got abit tired reading my book and there was no one in office cos its lunch time (meanin no one to gimme work).. So i juz started writing a song.. Haha.. Not really like those professionals.. Juz wrote the lyrics w/o giving much thought bout the tune.. Anyway its in simple english.. Did it in like 10mins?? Haha.. Maybe i'll take some time to refine it.. When the inspiration comes.. Meanwhile, gotta start thinkin of how to get a tune for the song..

how unlucky can i get?

Lets start from mornin..

I was cooking smthing and i forgot about it.. It was only when it was boiling over did i remember bout it.. In my hurry to remove the cover, i used my bare hands.. Yup i got my fingers burnt..

Den i wanted to go to the library and buy myself lunch at the same time.. So took a shower and off i go.. soon after i left, i realised tt my mp3 got no more battery.. I took out my reserve battery and replaced it.. Only to find out both batteries are dead..

After gettin the books, i went to buy a packet of porridge for my lunch.. No more than 10 steps after i got my lunch, it somehow slipped and dropped on the floor..

Weather was windy and cooling.. So i decided to walk home instead of taking the bus.. On my way home, this car actually brushed past my left leg from behind.. it was no more than an inch from knocking me down.. My hp in my left pocket even receive a knock from the car..

And its barely 1530.. Wonder how the rest of my day will be like.. Sigh..

Got the day off for my medical check up at National Heart Centre..

Went there took blood test first.. Damn.. It was painful.. Either the nurse was rough or i became 'weaker'.. I dun remember it being so painful the last time i took it.. Anyway now the whole area where the needle 'violated' me is all bruised up.. Argh..

Den suppose to take this Stress Echocardiography thingy also... But they say i got flu so can't take.. Waste my time go there.. Worse still is for this test, cos i'm under 21, one of my parent has to be arnd..

Oh.. I'm probably gg to stay in camp tonite.. Involved in the range for nxt 2 days as sentry for the ammo.. Gotta report at 6am tmrl mornin, might as well stay in.. Can get more rest and save on the taxi fares..
And since its till thurs, i'll stay in on wed nite as well.. I mean why not.. Saves time and money on transport..

Watched EPL at KKK's place wth WK ystdae.. Long time since i watch any soccer actions.. The Man United game was rather ok only.. Instead the Tottenham Middlesborough game was much more exciting.. Can tell this season Tottenham is gg to be pretty strong this year.. Wth all the new signings and the already there players... A team to watch for sure..

Played soccer this morning.. Had quite an enjoyable session.. Though we won only like half the games.. But we had a few gd games and everyone was enjoying much of the session.. And i managed to score a few.. One of which i'm really proud of.. A solo effort that saw me dribbled past 3 players be4 placing a shot out of reach of the keeper..

Came home.. Slp till bout 1800 den wake up..

I guess tts my weekend..

JK, like everyone else, seems to look to uni as smthing very much better than our lives now.. I noe it'll be better, but by how much, i really dunno.. Not puttin much hopes on it..

Todae, morning reported to camp as per normal.. Den given half day off by my TO (Training Officer).. Cool .. Cos everyone else was on off.. So no point keepin the TSS..

So i went Parkway for pool wth TYS and WK..

Had lunch and dinner there.. Den went home..

Den went Kovan wth Fab and JK.. Went to Mac where we ate a 'little' snack and chatted.. Den suddenly this grp of 4 came up to us and ask if we're from the 16th Batch SRJC ODACians.. It turns out they're from the 18th Batch.. They recognised us from the t-shirt we're wearing (our 16th ODAC t-shirt) .. So they sat down and we chatted bout ODAC... One of them turns out to be their batch's president.. haha.. So we talked bout our ODAC back then and they talked a little bout theirs.. They juz took over not long ago.. Exchanged contact numbers.. They seem to wanna invite us back.. 3 of us do really wanna go back to see wad ODAC is doing now and how much changes there have been.. As usual, we gave them the advise to study hard...

Oh.. and apparantly, they heard about this 16th batch ODACian who did well in 'A' levels.. Haha.. Muz be JK lah.. LOL.. famous liao..

On way home wth JK, the main topic of conversation: Bball VS Soccer..Which one is for us?

Morning went for bball.. Abit slpy.. Din slp much considering i only got home 0345 cos i was playin Dynasty Warrior at JK's place..

Played a few 3v3.. Den brunch at HP as usual..

Went Pool Junction played pool wth TYS and WK.. Den went to meet up wth the main cast of 2S04'04.. JK,FAb and DM.. Went for dinner at Sizzler's.. Yup.. 2nd month in a row i ate there on payday.. Nice place.. Chatted alot alot as usual and ended wth an arcade session which saw DM rise to the rank of BG.. Tts like so woah.. I only got LTC highest lor..

Juz got back from a supper + talk cock session wth Senghou + Affiliations ( - Alvin whos in taiwan).. Long time no sit together chat le.. Everyone busy wth their own life... All different vocation.. All different camp.. All different job scope...

Morning quarrelled wth my Mum.. Went JK's hse not long after tt.. Played Dynasty Warrior 5..
Completed 2 quests.. Den went for dinner at HP..

Met TYS den went for bball... WK joined the grp.. Den DW came real late (2130).. By then we already finishin liao... Den KKK shock us by coming like 2200.. lol... But he came to chat and eat only..
